As it says, do you love it or hate it, and please state why :)

Fine in pvp.
In pve it can be troublesome on bosses you need to stack up on. That's it. |
|
Hate it.
Accept that it is the only thing though that makes us unique as a class. Gutted to see blizzard make us just another wizard with this. |

Well please stop crying because of the removal of the 5 yard range, this thing was done to screw the casters in PvP nothing more, because we will still have to keep our distance not to get totally obliterated, this removal wont change almost anything in PvE. Finally we get something to fight with against frost mages who nova us and keep in melee so we won't have anything to do, so now we can finally retaliate

Why does hunters unique feature has to be an inconvenience, what is the logical reason for not using our weapons at point blank range, gun and crossbow is fine only bow may have some issues, but this game isn't realistic so we will let it slide.
We have our unique feature, for the love of god, we can tame practically any beast in the game. |

It will have an positive impact on pve. Malygos for example were a pain with the minimum range. But... where are you having problems with frost mages? |
|
PvP in general when being trained, or people know how to exploit this mechanic.
If you can't steady you barely do any damage, and because of latency you can start casting SS so often but never get it off, be it when a melee insonto you or when you are chasing someone around a pillar. |
Yes them frost mages, being dead an' all from my silly crits standing on top of me in ghost form. The chills! |

PvP in general when being trained, or people know how to exploit this mechanic. Then the pillar is the problem...? Or perhaps the lack of some increased passive regen, wich aspect of the viper was giving hunters. In tbc this mechanic could be abused to the full extent, I experienced that myself in arena. Today, no sorry. It's not the same. And a mage should be really good in order to be able to deal with hunters. Either that or the hunter is simply just bad. |

I can keep my range perfectly fine with all classes in PvP. You obviously don't get the point of this thread. I'm not QQing, I'm trying to find other peoples likes and dislikes about it. |

Dislike in PvE, don't care in PvP.
On some bosses, when adds are stacked on boss and you need to stack, I cant stack, literally wasting healers mana, but there is nothing I can do. Not yet at least. |

Dislike in PvE, Dislike in PvP, people saying otherwise are lying, or well they maybe love having a mage standing ontop of you keeping you rooted forever :)
Wouldnt mind the minrange if we still were able to outrange others, but with the mobility of other classes I'm quite glad its getting removed. |

Especially annoying in dalaran arena because of the boxes.
Haven't done much pvp in cataclysm, but I remember dalaran arena being a pain in the butt in WOTLK simply because of those damn boxes. |
|

It's fine and ads to the challenge in bg's and wpvp, but in some arena maps it's overkill to the class viability and enjoyability imo. Good it will be gone.

kikkelis kokkelis
hate it in pvp when some shadow priest gets me close and disengage on cd |
|

We need to be able to shoot people close up, you cannot stand on someones foot and expect to be safe, its always been stupid.....i also suggest if you are that close to a hunter you increase their damage and crit chance too
PLUS. Traps i love them but in pvp and you need that healer frozen....no, lets have something to throw, sticky, have it stick to them and it explodes freezing them, burning them or whatever....that would be better Brae |
