I love Sporeggar

After playing on several realms including some high population realms I find that I prefer Sporeggar to all of them. Now I just need to find the money to move my 2 85's over here from Wildhammer

Love sporeggar aswell.

Its just a nice relaxed place without all the pressures and !@#$%iness of the busier realms

RP Realms never be forgotten.

I have to say, although there is occasional moaning about the lack of anything on spore, that's kinda it's charm. It's a place for well known cliques or friends rather than spontaneous wpvp or anything for that matter.

How is Sporeggar? I hope it's not *too* underpopulated Horde side? WarcraftRealms lists the population at 179 ;-).
I started out on an alliance RP PvE realm, Steamwheedle Cartel. I kinda liked it, people seemed to be nice, the guilds had cool names, but I grew tired of the RP aspect (I'm not into 'acting' at all), and being Alliance left me no reason to keep playing... I stopped playing for a while, then started out as Horde on a server that I chose completely randomly... Mazrigos (PvE normal) I quickly made some friends on Mazrigos, but generally the people are lame, the guild names are lame. It's all about raiding and being bored at 85, nothing else. Then I tried out Emerald Dream, also PvE normal. Smaller population (horde side) and a nice atmosphere, got into a guild that was nice but couldn't really get started, met some friends there. Still, not a lot of nice people. To give you an impression of ED, if you want to get epic LK gems for any reasonable price, you can forget it. Demand is low, but prices are extremely high, compared to Mazrigos. Hardly any competition and you know how ppl behave then. If you ask around for a blacksmith, no one answers, and when someone finally does answer it turns out to be a person you have already met and that you are already friends with! (I was on an alt she didn't know, and she was on an alt I didn't know about). I tried to get an Emerald Bag made - the Kalu'ak revered herb bag. There was simply not any tailor who had that pattern. Everyone kept saying "but I can make the Hyjal bag". Yeah, of course you can, it's trainer learnt, it's just 4x as expensive. So basically I quickly met every nice person there was to meet, and then I was stuck with the promise of not being able to do what I wanted to do. And what I like to do is play and level slowly, and also twink a bit at level 70, but if there is no one interested in that, and everyone keeps asking why I'm not 85 yet (so I can be bored with them) and being sarcastic about it (like they are on Mazrigos) then there is not much point to it and I'm better off on a server with a good economy and ample of people that can craft the things I want to have crafted. And not just only boring level 85 stuff. But I want to create a Sunwalker and I don't want to do it on my current realm. I'm just checking the names of servers that I like most and have a look at them... the ones that appeal to me most are Sporeggar, Sha'tar, Earthen Ring and Moonglade. Must say there are many names that I don't know what they mean or are about. All of them are RP realms. Maybe I'm gonna end up on a RP realm after all. Do you have any recommendations for me? Any leads? |
