The first time a boss that has been worked on for ages go down. Hai2u Hero Putricide 3 weeks and hero Sindragosa 4 weeks. Funny thing is that when our raidgroup first gets something, it's set, and it's smooth sailing every go afterwards.

well for me probably some funny moments while gearing up in lfr:
warrior tank changes his spec and gear when he enters the instance, i heal him up and buff, he charges into the first pack and types: omg guys i accidentally sold my shield! |
Yeah, it does seem to work like that - its wierd! I suspect confidence has a lot to do with it. Um...fav moment...any moment when I heal the seemingly impossible and everyone thinks I'm great (obvs) and also finally getting my nether-rays - after faffing about doing the rep for over a year - A YEAR! XD |

just catched a warrior during raid that had aggro at 4% health on yor'sahj trash overpull with my greater healing wave macro making it instant, it crit and brought him to 75%, felt quite satisfying

... saving my 2's partner at 1hp (yes ... 1hp) with a PW:S ... the other team thought he was dead and froze completely when they suddenly saw him returning from the dead ... we naturally won :)
PS: He did comment it afterwards ... asking "if that heal wasn't a bit in the last moment" ... and for a sec I tried to act cool .. completely failed :) |

Similar to what Poxxia said, today I used rocket jump to close the distance to the flag carrier who was about to die in our flag room. Then I dropped the soul link totem and he went from "one hit away from dead" back to around 75% hp.
Just seconds later their flag carrier died and we scored, I'd love to be able to see their faces in that situation. Also I love it to rescue someone from being killed in Arena/BG, simply because I like to imagine the angry face of the person whose kill I just denied. Especially when they're now the ones who will get their face smashed in. All in all, I love to troll DPS when playing battle grounds. Their anger, annoyance and frustration is my delight. |

i once queued with 3 other priests from a former guild in lfd. we got a pally tank and the first few minutes we were argueing about who was going to heal and who was going to buff what. luckily for us our tank had a lot of patience and we had a very smooth run with 3 x shadow and 1 x holy.

I have several different healers. But by far the most fun for me is this priest.
Nothing quite as funny as mind-controlling people to fall to their death on either eye of the storm or arathi basin. Killed the same orc dk 4 times in a row like this. I could actually feel his rage coming through my keyboard lol |

Since it is healer forums I just sticl to healing related moments!
It must be my HPS on MAdness as dk. Bypassing that 17k hps never felt better! JK! In reality I always keep in heart ULD10 Algalon - herald of Titans. I was oom as I could have been, other healers went !@#$ up, 1 tank died and that little mana I was able to regen was enough to save the remaining tank just before kill and my own death. This never felt better. On old-old era on my druid I healed ragnaros, in oldie MC, and imagine 40 man raid and 1st kill was : 1 tank alive 3 healers, and some warlocks. 3 healers none were main spec healers :D Who said that balance druids were useless! |

Clearing Zul Aman back in TBC, timed, with some friends in only T5 gear. All of us getting the RED bear ^^
Loved the fact that the treeform came with a backfire; as it made you slower.. which made that timed run particularly fun |

On my resto shaman at lvl 53 down in Blackrock depths, in the emperor room, tank had aggroed about half the room in the first pull then when most of them where dead the rest with the bosses, spammed healing surge as fast as i could and tank lost as much hp as i healed so was hectic, i was being nuked by like 2 mobs on top of that, did see my mana down from 5700 to 600 when i dinged 54, that full mana pool saved us, felt damn good even if it was pure luck.

Dat moment when you get praised for doing your job well by other people for the first time : ) I remember doing Gnomeregan as a lowbie inexperienced priest, and even though I know those low level dungeons dont require alot of skill to heal through, I was still excited and hoped I would do well. Our tank was not too high level and not too highly geared, so at one of the bosses ( I forgot wich by now... ) I really had to keep my eyes at the target and heal all I could, but we made it through. And someone yelled 'Nice healing!!' at the end of it. That, felt nice. <3

Think my maybe not favorite but at least funniest moment was in wotlk when togc came out and we were progressing hc valkyrs.. and i was going to refresh my beacon of light on my tank and accidently clicked divine intervention instead :p (was my paladin) the tank shouted on vent he couldnt move and the other tank yelled at me for being "oneshotted" because no one knew what had happened. :P
