Kara chess event - has it been buffed?

Damm why would they change a really old raid and make it harder , do they really not want us running old content , I thought id run Kara today for something to do , now im stuck on the chess event its just too fast , its near impossible now ...

Tried several times with 8 peopel and only managed to win becasue medivh walks his king through fire.
Probably just a bug on his CD timers. |

You guys were lucky, my group was utterly crushed by Medivhs 8 fire bombs smackdown amongst our pieces, not to mention his pieces had some charge ability that let them move to our part of the board before we could even more 2 steps.

Opened a ticket for some clarification on this; the Chess event is totally broken.
Essentially, what's going on is that the opposing team now moves almost 5 or 6 times faster than you can, and the Echo of Medivh cheats constantly - there's literally never a time when there isn't fire under your king or his healers. I'm assuming it's deliberate, as any piece not controlled by a player now does "something". |
