Rolling System is NOT random
|

How does this rolling system work?
I am certain it is NOT random. This character, my hunter, has NEVER lost a roll against other players, look at my gear compared to my amount of runs in DS 10. In these runs I am rolling against 2-3 others and I also won the heroic gloves from my first morchok kill against 1 other person. And today I won so much that the leader ninja'd the chest from me and kicked me from the raid. Now there is my paladin, who has NEVER won a roll against other players. Every time I roll against someone else, I am ALWAYS the lowest roll and I have completely given up on my paladin because I NEVER win. What the hell is happening?! This roll system is NOT random! What do you guys think? |

You don't know what the word random means.
You've made that quite clear. |
Well how can it be random if my hunter never loses and my paladin never wins? |

Well done for describing what random is. Guaranteed loot wouldn't be random, would it? Basing the roll system on your personal experiences is very short sighted. You're forgetting about the millions of other players who have had similar things happen to them as well as others who find that they get loot fairly steadily.
With that being said.
Your legs, ring, trinket, shield and weapon must have been won at some point. And given the fact that you've killed the first 5 bosses in DS normal once (3 times for morchok) and the first 5 in DS LFR twice (once for Ultraxion), you can hardly say your luck with loot is terrible and that you never win anything. |

Wow, this is the first time I hear someone 'complain' about winning loot... :P
Let's see... My mage was extremely lucky with gear and I got her geared before my main (druid)... So I was told to switch mains. My paladin has never lost a roll... My priest and lock have barely won a roll... Some say a draenei paladin allways wins... but mine's human. Also, my dk has spend several months doing MC for the legendary drops and when my rogue dinged 85, I tried to work out some skills on her... Went to MC and guess what dropped from Garr? Rng is rng... :P |
Maybe I should try going to tempest keep on my hunter then...... |

RNG sucks, We all know that

In the same way you could flip a coin 100 times and get 100 heads (win loot), flip it another 100 times and get 100 tails (lose loot) My maths teacher used to say there are lies, damn lies and statistics. |
Have you performed /roll at least 10,000 times to make such a conclusion? |

That's just the way randomness works.
Perhaps this is the case for you, because as I said above (and as everyone else said) randomness is random - or RNG is RNG. If you /roll an infinite amount of times, you'll get an infinite amount of 1-50 rolls, and an infinite amount of 51-100 rolls. So if you /roll an infinite amount of times on your Paladin, you'll get an infinite amount of 100 rolls. How awesome is that! Go do that now! =P
How do you propose it works then? It's biased towards certain characters? That really doesn't make sense.
That, my friend, is completely illogical. |

Bring a lucky friend with you to give you the loot : )
