Are dks pretty much dead in pvp?Ive been reading the dk forums. How are unholy and frost dks in lvl 85 pvp? like2 vs 2 and rbgs, are they good, viable or even accepted?
How are death knights look in mop ( for unholy pvp)? Are they getting nerfs or buffs? Im currently lvling a lvl 71 undead blood/unholy dk and i want to know if i should continue lvling it pvp-wise . Thank you :) . |

From what we can see right now DKs look bad. However things change during an xpac - look at warrs who were massively OP at the start of Cata and now aren't. Ferals kinda went the other way.
May as well lvl it so if you feel like picking it up sometime in MoP you can do. |

I personally feel that DKs are just fine at the moment.. they are lacking in some areas (as well as other classes) and they are still strong in other areas.. (just like other classes)
What might be missing is some sort of 'SHINE'-effect.. because most of what we do, other classes can provide as well, or even better.. but I wouldn't consider them to be 'broken' or 'UP' because of that.. |
Thanks.Which spec is better for bgs frost or unholy?
Both are viable specs, though Frost seems to have an advantage because of it's high burst- and AoE-potential. Also, Hungering Cold FTW ^^
However, if I'm encountering an UH-DK in a BG, I'm always extra careful, because if played well they can also take you down pretty fast.. with Frost, there seem to be more players on a medium skill set, so for me, they're easier targets, since I know exactly what they can do - and what not. Blood is also still seen as pvp spec, but generally only accepted as a FC in BGs.. for all other purposes and intents, they're pretty much ..no, not useless, but.. the wrong choice.. (and I'm saying that from a 'Blood is my favourite spec'-point of view) |

DK design is really confusing me. Dk's can live forever with conversion and if you remember Death strike was nerfed into the ground because blizz didn't want us to have that kind or survability.
We lost some utility because of survability buffs, but that makes me wonder what are they planning to do with blood dk's because they will be invincible, and after some time it will bring serious nerfs and leave the class gutted because of loss of cooldowns and utility. |

But what about unholy's futur? pvp-wise what do u guys think gonna happen to unholy in mop?
Unholy Dk's are gonna be ok since they will all take Chillbains and be able to spam CoI, at least they will be far better in random BG's now because of that.
Unholy DK's didn't lose anything really except weak AMZ, and in case you are undead you can take far more powerfull version from talents. For frost I think it will be pretty weak though as it stands now. |
Why would anyone want to play unholy in mop after the changes being made?Basicaly all talents of survibilty is given in the dk talent tree.Frost will beat unholy in pvp in mop i presume.
dk pvp isnt too exciting right now. and i have to admit - from what ive seen of mop. it doesnt looks that exciting then too
frost is just too squishy.. blood is just boring unless youre FC.. and i personally hate playing unholy (dont like pet classes) so im sticking to my rogue for pvp. |
Unholy isnt a pet class, yes the spec does enchance ur ghoul but u can survive without ur ghoul.Unholy is about putting diseases, pressure and dps on ur target. But will unholy be viable in mop pvp?
Well currently we're really good in RBG's due to the burst and AoE Howlign Blast Pressure. For arenas Unholy is probably the best way to go if you want to go high. But it's also harder to play as you're all about sustained pressure and pet managment. I have about 18 binds just for the pet.

Well, our mobility is going to be crap as Death's Advance will be a CD. We'll see a small amount of increase disease and pet damage as well. We won't be able to use Lichborne and AMZ at the same time anymore as their in the same spec tier. So overall Unholy seems to be getting nerfed while Frost is getting buffed. I haven't done any testing so don't just take my word for it. |

Frost lost it's only really cc Hungering Cold which means we will see 0 of them in arenas and Unholy lost AMZ which sucks anyway currently.
Unholy did lose Death's Advance and pizzas of death, but got Chillbains back which is a buff in terms of arena so overall you can't count that as a nerf, overall it's a bit better especially in battlegrounds. Unholy will be support class like in wrath and played like that, burst is still low pressure is good and the new ability to heal allies with death coil is awesome. And as I understand NS is quite weaker then now. Well, our mobility is going to be crap as Death's Advance will be a CD It has a passive effect which prevents you from being slowed below 70% all the time with 6 seconds activated freedom, not just when your runes are on cooldown. |

aha ahahahahahahaha trying pulling more than 3k dps without ghoul.. i dare u or maybe more than 2.5k 3k seems way too big... this isnt wrath of the b itch king pal.....

Pet does 25% of your damage in PvE. Try again |
