Diablo 3 sucks.

Blizzard has done great with wow as people with 128mb graphic card can play the game, new mmo games dont offer that, thats why they fail, wow gameplay is just right for old players and new, i wouldnt care if the graphics on wow stay the same, they meet what is good for a fantasy game.

who says fantasy games should have realistic graphics, has anyone actually seen a flying dragon irl or a titan, i think not, people play games to get away from real life even if its for a few hours.

so why should they have realistic graphics? graphics dont make a game, gameplay does, when will these kids realise this?

look at all these socalled wow beaters that came out with high end graphics, they end up going nowhere for one reason, not everyone has a high end pc, so lots of people wont play the game, there are more people with low end computers than high end computers and wow knows this and makes sure all can play the game.

If you want top graphics then leave wow and find a new game where the gameplay will be bad and you wont have many people playing them, what are them games called again? ph yeah f2p games, all the so called wow beaters are going f2p, not much of a wow beater.

Sure if you prefer style over substance.

Sinds Diablo 3 is there i dont care to log in wow any more .....
cata were so bad so i dont gonna buy MOP because it aint getting better i just gonna play Diablo 3 waiting for my annual pass to run out so i can drop WOW from my list.

If you're looking for excellent RPGs (not MMOs) to play while waiting for MoP, I'd suggest the Mass Effect trilogy and the Dragon Age games.

Similarly, you missed me saying: "all it takes is for a new game to play as good as WoW but with much much better graphics."

So you have WoW, and you have this new mystery game that plays just like WoW but it doesn't look dated. You'd play that new game, right?

point of world of warcraft is it is not just a game like all the others MMORPG
first of all you can play wow on you super new pc and it looks great.
while you play it on your laptop thats 10 - 15 years old... it looks some worser but you still can play it, but thats only for the most players that are out ther. if you got not much money to spend you still can play the BEST MMORPG around. and if you got the money it make's the grappic's only better.

but the looks are not everything...
but wow got a real GOOD story behind ther qeust line's
most MMORPG's change from story every couple of month's they get a new idea they change everything...

and abouth what you said... go for the lady that is 28 that looks like 20 or go for the lady off 28 that looks like 30... same point Imao... looks are only for the first time... the person behind the face is where it goes abouth ...

and treuly you don't see a big diference, i see 60% of mine friends playing diablo for a few hours then go back to wow get ther valor cap. push some stuff on the ah for gold, and go back to diablo, saying they don't leave wow behind just for a new game... but they play both because they like both... not only because it is new... because they like the game's itself not only the looks...

regarding the better looking games? I usually don't like / dislike a game purely on the look or graphic. I like the graphics in WoW and I play that game aswell. But I like different graphic in other games, such as the graphic in Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and yea the whole different graphic in Legend of Zelda Wind walker.

The only reason i quit these games, was because of my pc performance...(i only have a 9500GT gfx card) i'm not going to go out and buy a custom built £1000 pc just to play games that look all pretty and shiny.

With WoW you have the graphic style that doesn't give a huge load on your pc.

What exactly does this have to do with the looks of games ?!

Of course. You forget that the WoW engine is about 8 years old now.

As a guy, would you go for the attractive 28 year old lady who looks like she is 20, or the similarly attractive lady who is also 28 but looks about 30?

(Assuming the general rule of attraction ie. majority that younger is more attractive.)

That was the most horrible comparesion ever...my guess is in your case you wouldnt get either of thoose women since they would both laugh at you sitting there playing and fantazize about your bloodelf-avatar. how sad...

and the example doesnt even work. because when new games are out they get popular for a little time. then a couple of months later people generally goes back to play wow.

i havent had any problem at all with my random bgs, and my alt is lvl 30 and now 45. jeez....

I am also welsh, WOW one month you've been out the game well done that means you have a life gratz!

I'll start to listen, once you actually have your facts correct. At level 84 for me, it took me maybe 2-5 min to get a BG queue to pop. You have not even accomplished some of the hardest game content in World of Warcraft. Go play the game, and shut the !@#$ up.

No mmorpg comes close to having the smooth gameplay WoW has.

You forget why WoW is so popular (besides the gameplay), it runs on just about any computer made in the last 6 years. I play WoW a lot on a computer that's 4-5 years old (and it was the cheapest at that time, doesn't even have a video card), sure everything on low but it runs at 20-30 fps which is perfectly playable.

When Guild Wars 2 comes out, I'm sure a lot of WoW players will be turning to GW2 for a couple months, and i'm pretty sure almost anybody who bought the Annual Pass and more are playing Diablo 3 right now.

I am looking forward to MoP, but then again, I then have to juggle with Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3, which it will probably go like...Get to 90 on MoP, get good gear, go on GW2+Diablo3.

I'm pretty sure most WoW players don't care the least bit for GW2.

And from what I've seen from the beta videos, it looks horrible (like swtor).

WoW is more of a very old, but very loved grandma who's on life support because all of her insides have turned to total !@#$ and she's basically just a vegetable and is but a shadow of her former self. But the family won't let her go because, "we still love her!!!"
Then, one year down the road, you keep the reanimated zombie remains of her chained in the basement. You keep it around because in the past you had fond memories and can't bear the thought of putting the zombie down, but you are also rational enough to know that you'd have to be crazy to go anywhere near it now.
