Raging low lvl's!

Yes I have. Yes they are easy. Fact is OP asked why he was getting raged at. He has now been told. He expected to get carried as shown by his response to a paladin in the same group with better gear who was pulling aggro. Why you are supporting his laziness I dont know. Yes at that level u can tank naked if your healer is good enough but thats not point. Low level or not Id expect at least a minimum of effort from other party members. He wasn't even prepared to do that. |
He wasn't tanking naked though, was he? He was tanking RFC as arms and got called a retard and told to hang himself after tanking the whole dungeon up to the final boss. |

The reaction was over the top yes I agree. But in his own words he couldnt be bothered to even try and hold aggro all the way through. This means he was being carried. The way things are ingame im surprised he lasted in the group til the end. |

According to the OP. He also helped picking up mobs that were aiming for the other group members. So he wasn't all carried, I do say. Personally, I wouldn't really care much though. Sure it can be annoying and all, - but what matters is whatever the group is capable of finishing the dungeon or not. Point is. That tanking will always be easier with the proper specc. Same goes for healing and damage-dealing. - So whenever you aren't in the proper specc. You are giving the group something to complain about. Sure it might still work out, but it will usually always work better with the proper specc. |

Well it could have been worse, he could have been a brand new DK tank, I've wiped so many times in Ramparts because of them not knowing what to do or how to aoe tank.

In my experience most of those death knights seem to stick to DPSing. It reminds me of a group I once saw in the old dungeon finder system back in early Wrath. Group consisted of: 3x Death Knights 1x Paladin Note was: "LF a tank". xD Edit: Forgot to mention. It was a group wanting to do Ramparts normal. |
This is the crux though. Something about the story doesn't ring true. He said they didnt wipe yet he also says the group only started raging at him on the last boss. If the group had been fine with him doing pretty much nothing all dungeon why would they suddenly start raging? Id guess that they did wipe and hence thats where the drama started. |

If the dungeon gets done without a problem, I couldn't care less about the gear or spec of the tank. However, I have limited time to play the game and would like to get something done while playing. As a result, yes, I do get pretty pissed off if someone comes into a dungeon in a somewhat crucial role (healer or tank) and causes the dungeon to take a considerably longer time than usual, because they can't perform being specced/geared wrong and don't even try to do their job somewhat properly.

I fully understand op and agree with him, people should just relax and have fun, specially since all was going well. Lvling instances are so easy and fast, no need to be perfect. Myself i prefer if there is something breaking the routine and makes it a bit challenging.
I wonder if people check for flaws in the other grouped player's gear when they are bored and start arguments because of that? |
Aaaand why exactly wouldn't I? A low level dungeon is very quickly done when properly run and is one of the last elements of group play. It also grants some nice blues / crap to sell/enchant and nice xp when running for the first time and you get the quests. |

Don't know how it is now, but last time I tried DM, WC, Shadowfang and Zul F,
they took at the very least an hour to complete with a good group. Heck, I can't even think of any dungeon under an hour. I just listed some of the longer ones, though maybe I should include Monastery as well. |

I don't remember when I've last been in a dungeon run that took anywhere near an hour. Thank/Blame people with lots of heirlooms, I guess? And my personal experience is that the exp point gain in a dungeon run is the same as, maybe even better than, while questing in any case.

well you are posting from your lvl85 char so no 'space for newcomers' for you and yeah you did complete the run and nobody died but there was actually somebody else doing your job and keeping the aggro. i just sign as tank too get fast group too run too some dungeons You knew very well what you were doing you queued in as tank to get a fast group. So please don't cry now, of course nothing excuses swearing or name calling, but in a way you asked for it, people don't like cheat0rs :) And sorry my dear but if had you in my group I would start vote kick. I'm sick and tired of people who queue in LFD as healer or tank just to get fast group and have neither gear nor skill to do that job! Most of the classes I play give me option to pick more that 1 role... but as I'm dps and have no idea about healing/tanking I queue in as dps and wait sometimes quite a long to get a group. So yeah when I join a group, just after saying hello ( I always say hello :) ) I'm inspecting tank and a healer and when I catch them on 'cheating' that way I comment on that straight away, tell them what's wrong (no, no name calling etc), give them link to noxxic and vote kick. Call me mean I don't really care :) I have died/wiped too many times because tank was not a tank or/and didn't know how /didn't want/didn't bother to taunt and keep aggro or healer that had no idea about healing or didn't have right gear/spec to do that (like that enhancement shaman who I had in one of my groups yesterday, yep we asked her if she had resto OS and the answer was no, she also admitted that she wanted fast group, lol and added that ele shammy (me) can do healing). No way:P I was waiting more than 20 mins in a queue, she could have done the same :) And you can also wait :) |

This is why they raged, I've tried heal a tank who got 2 shotted by a boss in Deadmines normal, he died before my heal finished casting, I had just come in as the last healer left. When I looked he was all in white or grey gear, mostly cloth and some leather and was fury specced with a 2 hander "of the eagle" level 6. That's not as bad as being in Lost City of Tol'vir one time with an 85 tank who amazingly was doing bad... and I happen to inspect him out of curiosity and the tank had lvl 37-40 gear on, mostly mail armor but a few leather too, no rings, no trinkets, no necklace, and then had the cheek to say the healer was !@#$. I interjected about his gear and he said (and I quote precisely): "I got bored from getting more gear when I got to level 40 so I stopped putting on new gear..." Needlessly when I did a kick vote with "bad gear" as comment the vote was 4 times "Yes". We 4-manned the rest of the dungeon and did it better than when that person was still in the group. No idea what happened to the person or if he's still running in lvl 40ish gear, but if he is I feel sorry for every pug who gets in one with him. THAT person put a new spin on being a Leeroy Jenkins with the gear... ;) |
