Official recruitment thread: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4309854050#1
Go here now please Ok so I've seen several of these guilds pop up and look like a great way to re-live the past and let new players try things they have missed. I was thinking about joining one myself but they all seem to be on TBC content or higher, meaning I wont get to do the level 60 stuff again. So I figured, I might as well ask if anyone else is interested in starting up another guild like this. The aim would be to work our way through the 60/70/80 and 85 content and then prepare for MoP at the original levels. This includes the 5man heroics, raids and the heroic versions of the raids.. Along with this, try and get each of the legendary weapons at least once from each raid tier. To make this possible however we would need to attract a lot of people so we have enough to do the old 40man and 25man raids for the legendaries. It would also be nice to try and get some of those mount drops as a guild too, like Mimron's Head. I would also kind of hope people would do it without heirlooms so there isn't that little extra stat boost plus the gear that drops will be useful for more than just transmogrification! There would be no rush to clear the content, even though I've said to prepare for MoP I don' mind if we don't reach that content when the expansion comes out. I'd rather have fun than zerg it all. Anyway, this is just what I would love to do seeing as the other guilds like this are already ahead and there are probably some people who put it off like I did and missed a lot of the content. As for the legendaries, it would be nice to get as many people who wants them, to get them. This will be easiest for some legendaries (like thunderfury for example) than those which take longer (like the mace from Ulduar 25man). Of course we will get at least one of each legendary at the correct level and then help others who want them even if we progress further. As for the realm, well I made an alt on Silvermoon alliance recently who has enough money on her to start up the guild right away. I am however open to suggestions. I don't mind Horde or Alliance. Final note, unfortunately I am a student therefore I have weekend work in the evenings meaning any raids that I plan (there could always be a second group/raid leader) will be on weekdays in the evening. this would be a social, casual guild so there's no problems with people missing raids as long as they don't sign and then not turn up (that really does annoy me). So if you're interested in this please leave a comment below or add zinaxa on steam and buzz me on there. Hope to be playing with you soon! |

Sounds great! I'd love to be part of something like this. I've been taking a break for quite a while and would love to get going again! =)
I'd prefer to be Horde, but I wouldn't mind if we go as Alliance. Silvermoon as Alliance sounds good, otherwise I'd suggest Draenor as Horde for PvE realms. |

Awesome. I'll keep Draenor in mind, never been on that realm before.
If anyone has any questions I'll be happy to answer them, just going to rush off to a class but will be back in about an hour! |

I'm back and free to answer any questions.
If you want to send an in game mail or catch me online send it to Tradition on Silvermoon alliance. I'm not logged in on WoW atm, currently hitting some stuff up on diablo 3 ;P |

What classes would you want?

Anyone can be what ever class/spec they like. It would be a good chance to try out something new and learn it without being rushed. I haven't even decided yet what I would want to be. As long as we have enough tanks and healers to actually do the raids I'm not fussy ;P Plus with duel spec everyone tends to be a lot more flexible anyway.
Deathknights are welcome too but they would have to cap off their xp at 60 right off the bat and I was thinking of setting the first cap at 40 so we can level up professions and pick up more members before we head up to 60 and get ready to raid. |

Hey, sounds like fun :D im really interested in this, im looking to get re-involved in the game and this seems like a great way to do so..
Personally id preffer to be horde, as ive never tried it before.. Would love to know if this is going to go ahead? Can contact me here easily enough il keep a watch over the thread.. |

Sounds like a great idea!
Put me down for a mage (any realm, any faction). I've been in a couple of reroll guilds and two of the challenges they seem to face are.... Keeping strict rules about level caps and not lifting them early just because one or two people don't want to wait for the others, Ensuring that all guild members feel equal and welcome (no 'inner circle', or 'special friends') and you probably need to get quite a large group of interested people together before the 'go-live' date. |

Keeping strict rules about level caps and not lifting them early just because one or two people don't want to wait for the others, Ye I'm aware of these. I level fast even without looms however it gives people a chance to work on professions while others catch up. Any alts you level can be in the guild and do not have to be caped, however you will only be raiding with the caped one. No fun to do a level 60 raid with a level 80 just plowing through stuff. I hate that in guilds there's always the GM, the officers and a few favourites that do everything together. Of course those who log on more and chat more will get more known and there fore spoken to than others, however if everyone makes an attempt to be social then it's easier to include everyone. Yeah this I know. The level 60 raids are 40man and I also hope to then do 25man versions of the TBC+ raids for the legendaries and to get as many people involved as possible. If we get a lot of people we may even need to split into two 25man groups which would be ideal then everyone can go every week however this may be pushing it. |

Ok, so the preference so far seems to be Horde. If you know of any good horde realms to do this on feel free to mention it. My horde toon is on outland which is nice however it'll probably have queues soon as the holidays are coming, so I'd rather not go there.
Also feel free to offer up some guild names, not silly/rude/offensive though. |

Yeah that's the problem with most realms these days. I'm just gonna browse some sites and forums and see what other realms are like. I still haven't decided what I would want to be. I've pretty much done every class I enjoy already!
Perhaps Ragnaros: http://wow.realmpop.com/eu-ragnaros.html There's more Alliance than horde however the difference doesn't seem to be much compared to most realms. Still if we get enough people in the guild to do 40man raids then the guild it'self will be pretty self-sufficient. Everyone will have different professions and we shouldn't need to PuG. TBH this would be ideal if we could get the guild like this. Apparently though, reading some forum threads, the economy sucks so I don't know how much that bothers people. Personally, liking the look of Dreanor. |

I have a disused, empty guild on Magtheridon which you can use if you like. Its level 2, 5 bank tabs, 1000g, horde, called "Bad to the Bone".

I'll keep it in mind, thanks. How come it's not used?Just wondering for realm reasons. According to the forums that realm is pretty dead atm.

It's just a guild I had about a year ago, til I realised I'm not cut out to be a GM :)
Don't know what the realm is like these days |

As i'm kinda bored lately (and because i love to reroll once in a while because i'm craaaaaaazzzzyyyy), i'd be up for this, I've only read through it fast, but i have the feeling you kinda want to go for a big reroll guild, so i suggest choosing a pvp guild so that some pve'ers that also like pvp can join too.
I'll be joining depending on realm myself. Any class/faction will do :). (ALLIANCE FTW) I've rerolled a lot of times, so, i won't be joining if it's a realm i already have 85's on, as this will be unfair. (I dislike people who use heirlooms/gold from higher levels in reroll guilds, sowwy) Ragnaros and the maelstrom (not too sure about the second tho) pretty nice realms for both pvp and pve, not a huge fan of draenor myself since i like pvp as much as pve, and i like a good rbg once in awhile, from what i've seen on most pve realms, there is almost no pvp community. BUT, this doesn't say i won't check you guys out if that's your decision ^^ I'm not sure, but it might be also fun to help out an unbalanced realm, so we bring the aspect of needing each other for mats, help, etc... I'm just suggesting things :p @Tauz: i kinda remember your name.... were you a member of fresh forum delight? |

Well i guess u can start another guild, but what's the point when they are already out there? Isn't it better if we have the small amount of good people interested in the concept in one place?
My guild is already set up, have fair amount of people and still have few slots to fill. We do exactly the same as u intend to do, we do 5man hcs and getting gearing towards the t4 raids. Also we will do the lvl60 content with our lower lvl members, so noone would miss out on anything. We don't use DKs or WOTLK stuff. I have a chat with every player that wishes to join us, inviting in only nice, helpfull and active people. So, if u decide to go and create new guild i wish u best of luck, but personally i think it would not be wise. Best of wishes, Meggie :D |

Great to see more interest in this! =)
When it comes to realms I usually check http://www.wowprogress.com/realms/rank/eu/lang.en For Horde realms I'd love an active one and I suggest Draenor(PvE), Tarren Mill(PvP), Shattered Hand(PvP) or Burning Legion(PvP). Burning Legions seems to have the most even numbers between factions. I don't have any personal experience with any of those realms apart from Draenor, which I like quite much. Here are a few guildname suggestions: Demonic Brotherhood True Ravagers Turns of Fate Eternal Brotherhood |

This is kinda true, but personally, i find it hard to get inside a reroll guild that already started for a long period, but that might be only me :P Also, when would you start the guild? :) |
