Sub Rogue - Full PVP Gear?
|
|
Haven't PVP'ed for awhile since wotlk, and I have just started gearing my rogue for PVP. Thing is, I have heard arguements that rogues should have ress up to a certain point and then go with pve gear for the rest.. Is this true?
Right now my ress is about 3.5k with some pve gear (Rings, boots, weapons) |

it depends on your personal preference, between 4k and 5k is fine.

Depends on what you're playing.
In many comps you're going to be the last person who is a hard target so you can often get away low Res. It's your own initiative in finding the right damage. Inevitably you have to do PvE and may as well get a full set of both which you can mix and match at your own discretion. Your PvE gear incorporation will be heavier than any other class; I've come across hard-hitting Rogues who are in half-half (2.Xk Res) and finish me without getting a single damage-dealing cast in, but of course they become a liability if they're playing in setups where they're going to get hit. |

It depends on the circumstances. Your comp, you and your team mates' play-style and skill, etc. But I'd go with at least the pve 2set. That thing lets you spam ambush like crazy during dance.

RMP, the more PVE gear the better, assuming the PVE gear is better than the PVP.
Same for triple dps. Not so much for Healer/DPS/Rogue But for RLS you might wanna pick up vial... |
