Dear Shamans,

What do you think about Unleash Elements?

I personally don't like it, the damage it does feels like almost 0 and the bonus damage it provides feels like between "meh, it's not necessary" and "it feels wrong if i don't use it".
The animation appears very strange to me, it looks like you are throwing gnome !@#$%^-*s.

I was a fan of the WotLK priority list for single target:
1) Flame Shock
2) Lava Burst
3) Lightning Bolt

This felt so damn right, i really loved to play it... (maybe because it was so simple?)

Please let me know your thoughts.

Yes, I do realise it. But there is also Unleash Elements in it, which is really weird...

Unleash Elements is only used in Enhancement and sometimes used in Restoration though...

You realise that using unleash elements in an elemental rotation, is a dps loss, yes?

Noxxic is often wrong.
The only time you should ever should be using it in 4.0 was when moving before Unleashed Lightning was an available glyph now there is no point.

You misunderstand. Noxxic gives you a priority list, and it puts unleash elements underneath lightning bolt.. meaning that if lightning bolt is uncastable then it's acceptable, but this is very rare, and I can't think of an occasion in current content.

Using it just as you click the button on Ultrax is apparently a dps gain, however minimal. Still abolsutely useless for ele short of PvP though
