Hello there everyone,

I am considering resubscribing to WoW to start over, a new server, a new character and a new adventure since I've got lots of spare time this summer holiday.

What I was wondering is if it's possible to get most of the older achievements in the game?
I'm a player that's really a completionist and want to get the most out of my character (in other games I only play one main and deck that character out).
But just also in general, is it possible to complete old content/achievements/mounts relatively easily? I will be playing as a mage if that is any relevant info to you guys.

Hey there and warm welcome back hopefully.

Yes, I think it's still possible to achieve almost all achievements but often now easier to do many solo if you do them at higher levels than was meant to be done etc - solo mount runs etc.

Finding a good guild interested in similar things would be a great help just to have others with similar focus or company on your adventures. If you ever fancy visiting Argent Dawn, Horde then consider looking us up as we hope to be exploring the old content leisurely and slowly to actually enjoy & experience the atmosphere rather than just rush through to max level or for the loot.

As said above, yes it is easy to get them done, especially at 85. However you may find it more fun to join a guild like mine, http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4309854050 as this is what we are doing, reliving the old content.

and if u dont like playing horde, we do the same thing on alliance side. My guild has few more slots open. We are currently doing lvl70 hcs and kara, till all of our members are lvled up. Also will start doing lvl60 content and lower lvl dungs for our guild achies next week, so nothing u have missed yet :P We are going for small and close, friendly guild, where people would feel apreciated and have fun with friends. Thanks for the offer but I noticed on your website that you're only accepting Druid, Rogue, Shaman and Warlock. Unfortunately I'm going to play a Mage so that's too bad then...

I really do recommend you to try out the horde side :P... I have played alliance all of my life and found that rolling horde has been that little bit of refreshment i needed..

Phase Two is a wonderful guild full of wonderful people, in fact I've left behind my two 85's to join this re-roll... The people are here, the intentions are and the progression will soon follow :)... Really do suggest you check us out, i honestly think you wont regret it :)

Obviously if you don't fancy the horde side or even our guild doesn't take your fancy, id suggest trying to find a guild over the forums, i have found joining one of the many level 25 "social" guilds to be a game ruin-er, there's never a feel for community and nobody wants to partake in anything, its like playing in isolation..

You only have 2 mages at 70 and one at level 2 so I don't see how you are filled up with that, but don't even want to join that guild anymore, pathetic people
