You mean after the BWL run, where many of the 60's from other realms watching stream had to keep messaging the leader to tell him tac's and after watching alot of the stream's seeing the gear, from HW, t2 ( before they looted any bosses ) and so on being used, yes very easy... but alot of respect for this guild, they know what they are doing and good luck to them il think about moving one of my spare toons i have laying at 60 :) |

I was talking about the whole raid content mc/bwl/aq 40. You do know that all the gear people had gotten before being in this guild was banned from the raids right? So therefor we didnt have a single person joining up with op gear in the raids yet it was ezy. The point i was trying to make is that the pve content for a "vanilla 60 guild" is a joke and if only focused on that the guild wont make it very long. If you get people to play horde+ally and have epic world pvp battles then you might have a good shot at creating a lv 60 realm. |

Banned - So the amount of people who moved from silvermoon to there in full gear didnt happen, Sorry but it did manaflask was a joke. Back on topic, yeah i do feel world pvp will help as thats what Psychosis did for manaflask, we set up a rival guild to keep them alive they didnt want to pvp with people in op gear * cough was in the same gear and more strict rules * if a horde guild can set up pvp, this will go perfect i feel Good luck

World pvp will be an important part. And to do this outside of fre-pvp zones like Gurubashi and Dire Maul arenas, yes... We will need a horde guild. This will be discussed in our twink-meeting, and I'll be looking to set that guild up soon. But first of all, we need to know exactly how this will happen.
My plans so far: -Get alts made on our server so people will know a rough estimate of the number of people that would move here. -Have each person decide whether they will be on Horde or Alliance. -Inform people about our plans for boosting, and fast levelling through guild-dungeons within the guild. (If people can confirm how often they are available in the week, then some unofficial 'groups' could be formed, where people available at similar times can level at the same rate, as quickly as possible). This is how we will get our population, and then it's on to getting random BGs rolling, world pvp events on weekends, and of course, raiding groups to gear everyone up. I'm putting together a 'raid-plan' at the moment, and will probably make a post about that when the date for the meeting is revealed tomorrow/wednesday.
Thank you for the positive feedback, we need people like you in our guild. :-) |

I'd totally be up for creating a new character up to 60. I'm guessing you may need more people to re-roll onto the realm with new alts? I can play every day of the week after school considering my coursework is done tomorrow, so I could start tonight or Wednesday. |

I'd totally be up for creating a new character up to 60. Excellent. I'd be happy to welcome your new alt to the guild. The more people we get before the meeting even takes place strengthens the impression for others to do the same. Come /pm me, or any online member. I may not be online until MUCH later this evening, though... I have a headache from looking through forums all day, maybe.. lol Someone will be there anyway, come join us, my friend! |

Another BG popped, this time I was in it :-) Battlegrounds are coming back now, I suggest people start playing again if you still have a 60

I wish this could be an option, I heard that it's been done on Korean realms, but I saw in a previous post that Blizzard have no plans to Merge EU Servers, Due to the most pathetic reason of "People will get upset over Name Changes", deciding on who from which realm changes their Name, as you can't have same name on same server. Meh! On another note, I am very happy with the outcome of people liking the idea, whether you wish to get involved or not, I Urge you to come to the Meeting on Sporeggar. The Date has been set as 2 Months after the Release of "Operation: 60" Going Live. So the Date will be: 8/8/12. Create a Lvl1 Human and Meet at Northshire Abbey, Stay Tuned for a Time, and whether the Date is Moved along slightly! Thank You for all the Support so far, and Keep sharing it to friends! |

Even though I find the 60 bracket to be unplayable at the moment, I wish you good luck!

That's a matter of opinion, some would agree but I think many more would say that vanilla or even TBC was the peak and its been in decline since then. On topic, I wish you all the best and look forward to hearing more about this enterprising idea. |

As much as it is a good idea, it is almost impossible to get 400+ members in Guilds like <Deck Me Out> to all move to a single Realm, it is not only the reason of getting the time to make everyone aware of the move but it is also the fact that not every member can afford or is willing to support the Realm change. <Deck Me Out> has been active and running for a year and we are still progressing with Raids being completed every week and our honest support to other Guilds, taking on cross realmers to enjoy a classic Raiding experience, i totally agree with Títan about the fact that Blizzard have little ideals to make changes for the lower brackets, as they would rather continue with developement for new expansions ect.
I wish you all the luck in this but as an Officer in one of EU's leading Twink Guilds i just can't see this being forfilled as we are already enjoying the current gameplay as we are. |

Sporregar has been a problem case for years, I remember it waaaay back. Always felt really sorry for the realm as the community has tried to keep it up but it's just too quiet. I like the idea of a quiet realm with other like-mindeds. As much as Bipsi's post about an active twink guild sounds more promising due to numbers, being part of a new effort that simply isn't going to give in sounds like an interesting idea. I've twinked at 60 before and have to say I found it very rewarding. I'll keep watching this space because if all goes to plan for me, I'll be taking a look at this over Summer :)

it is almost impossible to get 400+ members in Guilds like <Deck Me Out> to all move to a single Realm I have no wish to alter anything to do with successful guilds. The aim of this whole operation is to re-ignite the 60 interest. Your guild runs fine and takes on cross-realmers that know about them, to include everyone. Those cross-realmers do not have a guild supporting them 24/7, though. With DMO being so active and successful for those who enjoy their PvE, and projects like Sayune's on Outland for BiS twinks who want only to pvp in top-end gear instead of raiding, I am doing this for everyone else that is left. There are still 60 players scattered across the European realms, and I'm trying to make a guild out of anyone who doesn't feel the previously mentioned guilds are right for them, e.g., if they want a balance between pvp and pve, and may also want to try building up to another large 60 guild.
Asking people to move to your server ends badly. We saw that in the AQ project, with one guy deciding he wanted a large 60 guild, but being unable to control the crowd, and asking other people to do genuinely risky things, e.g. moving their character to another server based on trusting that the idea will work. People need more than that... If people are unsure about the transfer (as 100% of them should be), they can enjoy levelling an alt in the guild with other new recruits to test our numbers, and they may/may not use that character as their 60. We've had people do that already. If certain individuals at the meeting start to spam everything and try to ruin the event, unlike the AQ project, we know exactly how to deal with this: -Anyone that seems to be spamming or trolling, will have us suggesting that people ignore them. All players should ignore them to experience the meeting peacefully. -Spammers and trolls at the meeting will not be allowed to join the guild, and we will make this clear to the players who show up. Overall, this is the reason for people to try our idea. Unlike the AQ project, we are being realistic, at least, about the procedure. |

You've basically summed up the whole project in one sentence there :D We aren't going to give in, until we've tried our hardest a couple of times.. :-) |
