Hello,
Since this week I reactivated my account again and first night I played without any problems. Then when I tried to log in the day after, it suddenly wanted me to download a patch even though there wasn't a new patch that night.. The day after that I wanted to play again, but suddenly there's huge FPS drops when I try to move using the mouse or when I try to rotate the camera using the mouse. It's unplayable this way.. Also, I do not have this program called 'Gamer OSD', because I do not use Asus. [edit]: It seems that after I disabled and closed my Ad-Aware client the IG mouse problems ceased.. Odd.. Maybe this is a solution for more? |

I am having the exact same problem as you
I just came back and the lag is horrendous! Having tried reinstalling wow on my SSD, removing addons, fiddled around with ALL the ingame settings related to video. If you need to know my specs: i5 2500k stock speed 16gb RAM Asrock extreme3gen3 motherboard and a 570TI Geforce. Are there some special settings or some ways to boost the FPS to prevent those awful lags when rotating the camera? Its not just in ogrimmar, its EVERYWHERE! EDIT: I disabled Ad-aware too, but it still lags. |

Did any of you Enable the Reduce Input Lag option under Advanced Options?

|
It lags even worse if i enable that.. sadly!

Have you tried to enable triple buffering? I recently tried it along with enabling "Reduce Input Lag", and changing the DirectX-thingy.

as i said before, i have tried all kinds of different settings, and still it lags like hell, even tho its installed on my SSD disk.

All my drivers are up to date, first thing i checked

If you're using an Nvidia card, the last thing you'd want to do is to get the 301.42 Driver Update.
That update brings no good as it lacks a line of code in the base coding, making games lag etc. Return back to the 295! :3 |
