We all know that Rh is dieing..we know there isnt much we can do to stop it. Yet we all remain devided in our own guilds.. Some even create new guilds for reasons beyond my comprehension. We have a set player base on rh witch will only decrease, or at best stabelise.
It is now, that we should set our differences aside and make a new guild one witch every remaining Rh alliance player should join.
So that we can get the best out of pve / pvp / rp.. It might be chaotic but we can make it work.

Atm all guilds are just trying to get players from other guilds or ppl are migrating because they cant do anything.. Rh is my home..and i wont abandon it.

My idea is that we all vote on one person to become this guilds GL..former guild leaders will become officers and officers one rank below officer.
One rank for pve a rank for pvp and on for rp..and for those who dont know where they belong a rank as well.

Think about it.. All alliance in one guild.. You will see in one blink if you got the ppl to set a raid maybe even a 25 man.
No more spamming for rbg's rp or pve raids.

And by creating a new guild well avoid the discussion of whose guild is better..for its a new guild. So no one will bring up a guild merge.

By voting on the gl we will be able to agree for 75% on whose the best for the job
and even the name can be voted up on..thou some one mentiond "Keepers of the realm" to me..and i kinda liked it :)

Let me here your toughts on it.. Cause it doesnt look like itll get much better..But if blizz wont merge servers ..at least we can merge as one and hopefully have the fun we used to know or create new memories with those like minded

also add the ranks leveling and social players insetad off ppl who dont know what they want.

I'd say it sounds like a good, solid idea.

If we go on this idea we can always hae a meeting on who gets to do what, and who will be the leader etc.
I like that name, or "Legacy of the Realm" would fit the cause even more in my opinion ;]

As said in trade channel, I like the idea. Though there are many obstacles we'd have to overcome. Who'd be so devoted, honorable and humble to lead us? Is there even such a brave soon to be leader out there?
The amount of alts would be insane, and it'd be best to still split it into atleast 2 or 3 guilds with lvl 85 supervisors (those who do not wish to raid nor be hardcore in any other aspect of the game, we musn't forget those brave ones either). Think about the chaos. If there's no plan ... there'll be no unity either. But I'm sure we can figure it out if we put a lot of work and thought into it.

I will not abandon the Realm, nor will I stand and watch this realm become emptier by the second, and filled with complaining knobheads.

I think this is an idea that should be looked into.

Ravenholdt has been quite empty since D3 release and has become quite difficult to do anything.

to ensure everyone has a spot, id suggest ppl bring there mains at first and we would create an alt guild..or bring in alts as we need them to ensure no one feels left out.. as for leader..I got enspired after reading frazzles post, he seems in mu opion like a good capable leader who wont go power mad. Ive spotted him doing pvp pve thou i dont know about rp..but its been a long time since ive seen some real rp cept for the random rp in the different bars.

A social community comes first then comes the rest

Also ive had a talks with the vandaliers, minerva, dark saints and RR inc. Yet not all the leaders..those i spoke to agree with this idea but arent all sure they can leave the sentimental value of there guild behind
Some wish to see what MoP brings.. But the promise of MoP bring more ruin to RH.. for cross realm will only inspire ppl to transfer to other realms and guilds there.

The statement of bliz is that they wanne see how this cross realm will work out, so for all you people hoping on a realm merge.. I dont see it coming in the next two years..and after those years RH wil be dead for sure..

so plz open dialouge talk to friend irl and ingame about this idea. Open the dialouge so we may presurve a future on rh :)

Reading through these comments, I'm liking the initiative and ideas behind them. It's clear to me that there are others who are as stubborn as myself to leave Ravenholdt behind us, even though it 'has' become incredibly lonely as of late.

I believe with the correct planning and people involved it has the potential to be a great success and improve the community on Ravenholdt, because as you say that server-merge we're all waiting for isn't around the corner and new challenges such as MoP are. Although, it could also be a total disaster. Having many guilds merge into one sounds great, but choosing the leader will be incredibly difficult... finding the right person will be crucial otherwise it'll turn into a dictatorship and crumble.

I'm willing to pledge my support to your cause, keep me updated on here or in-game.

I believe myself and my girlfriend are rare examples of new blood joining this realm, and since transfering we've had the pleasure of being welcomed into the Outsiders. And despite the fact realm population seems to be on the slide, we like the reception we've had and wish to stay. I can't say I speak for anyone but this idea would most likely be a very attractive one to the Outsiders' members if I were to hazard a guess.

I'm pleased to hear that, Phubar. It's good than newcomers can still join this server and feel at home, I hope that feeling remains and doesn't fade with the rest of the server. Where there is loss, there is always hope... Phubars recent hospitality seems to be a prime example of this.

Good to know you both support the idea, but for anything to take effect it needs far more attention from the remaining Alliance on Ravenholdt. Try to promote the idea to your friends and guild-mates, allow them to share their own opinions here on the forum so we can improve our strategy and approach to this idea.

I much disagree. I know that the server is dying, but the main reason for me to stay with the guild I am in at the moment, even though there are not that many events being organised, is the fact that the people in the guild are just general nice people to play with. People I can joke with without them taking offence, people who are there to help one another just because they can help one another. Some of my other characters are in much bigger guilds but I hate the guilds. I mam in them to get the benefits from the guild system, but were it not for those I would rather be on my own than in a big guild which unites all ally players. Unfortunately many players are VERY immature/asocial and rude and I have no wish to be in a guild with people like that. Children who are barely old enough to play and keep shouting at everyone just because they think it makes them look cool, people who are too impatient/fustrated to be allowed to play multi-player games, they just kill the fun for me. If all players on the realm were sociable players fair enough, brilliant idea... unfortunately most of them are not a part of this category and I do not wish to be forced into a guild with not just one or two, no a whole big bunch of these types...

I think Ninnoc is right - such unity may lead to many problems, but even though it's REALLY CRAZY idea, I still think it's worth trying though. Even before D3 release our guild - Tribe of Elders - was kinda dead and when I was joining it, about year ago, it was full of active people.

I don't have much time to play now, cause I have much work in real now, but I do hope to get back for good soon.

I can understand what you mean ninnoc, but the fact remains that those who are on alot. Usually find them selves alone wondering the big question..what to do now. Now speaking for myself that would leave me with verry few options, some witch i wont even consider aka realm change.
So instead i try and look at the bigger picture where we bring in all the small guilds and the guildless together, ofcourse well encounter problems such as who is mature or just out right childish, but those probs you face in any guild you join.
And in my opion a small price to pay for the common good. This is also why finding a propper guild leader is gonne be hard, cause hell be faced with a barrage of matters as weve all joined guilds for different reasons.

@lizzy indeedit would be great if people would not only support the idea but spread the word and bring back the opions of there respective guild leaders, before we set this off so we dont look like a realm wide ninja guild :P

We're not fighting the Death Eaters, nor are we looking for the first president of the united states.

I'd love to see more events like RBG's, World PvP, Maybe even 5s, this might be they key to it.
