Druid and Paladins.

Just sometimes it feels that people judge DK's more harshly than other classes, look even this thread. Yes bad DK may look much more disastrous, but any bad tank is let down for whole group. But worry not Blizzard aims to make all tanks "active CD" tanks, meaning bad druids, warriors and paladins should show more as well now :)

I don't wish to come across as I'm teaching you how to play your class or anything, as you seem to have that nicely wrapped up :). But I believe what people mean by "bad dk" are the following;
- Spam DS to keep the shield up, as opposed to using it to heal magical damage AND bulster the physical shield
- Wasting runes on doing too much DPS
- Overaggroing their OT/MT

In comparison to a CTC capped tank being able to albeit do nothing at all and still not take 100% damage.

It's not a " DKS ARE BADDDDDD " comment, but more of a just " Bad dks are worse than bad X "

My MT and OT are Druid/DK <3

No preferences actually, but I do notice its a lot easier to heal pally's and dks (prolly cos of thier self heals)
I do like warriors and druids more tho.. they always seem to know when to get aggro off me if I ever get it.

Taurens, yeah loads of taurens !
my undead char is small and not noticeable when there are taurens in BG, alliance tend to go for them for their meat, and since im all bony they realy want to go for that tauren.
My buddy plays Tauren Paladin..Holy aswell ! HOLY COW!
can you imagine the aggro he gets? Its gotten to the point where he has become a buffalo, its hard to kill him since he has skilled up.

If you ever meet us in BG or Arena, you better be prepared for my meat shield, it can heal !

Blood death knight and a feral, of course.

Well dk's are not that common at my level, last dungeon i healed was at lvl 58, at low levels druid are bit hard without aoe aggro abilities but later on all seems fine to me, likely more to skill then the class itself.

Don't mind if i have to work a bit as a healer because of semi bad gear but when tank and / or dps is just plain stupid i mind :)

Dk's for sure :) If any decent I can just sit in Boomkin spec the entire dungeon doing 12k dps in my healing gear -.-" It's not much but it deffo speeds up dungeon.

Most of them I do with a friend (Spriest) so tecnically we don't use any heal, we just rotate his Hymn and my Tranq around :)
Some bosses I do switch resto though.

And I like warrior tanks, just because I don't see them that often.

I actually dislike DK tanks as my personal belief is that only healers should heal.

Which is not to say that death knights can't tank; they most definitely can, and they don't even need me for that.

Like my steak welldone, with some black pepper and garlic every now and then.

DK = DPS and Awesome
Druid = DPS and Awesome
Paladin = Bad DPS and Randomness
Warrior = Bad DPS, BAD, BAD, did i mention BAD. ty Blizz.

I've always, always felt comfortable with a paladin tank. I suppose it's because like, 6 out of 8 tank friends are paladins so my mind usually just connotates them with being decent now.

Always felt unnerved by druid tanks. I literally groan when I get one. It doesn't help with the fact that I leveled one and absoloutly hated tanking on it. They easily get the medal for being the most boring tank going.

Warriors are eratic. I'm currently gearing a new healer and I dread warriors. All of them seem to be 'CHARGE THIS WAY, FLY THAT WAY, SPEED SPEED SPEED OMFG WERE DAFAQ IS HEALER' attitude. I'm slowly but surely begining to dislike them. Of course that same attitude is a god send when you're actually over geared and just want to finish asap.

Death Knights, I don't know why everyone dislikes them. I've always loved them. This again might be because my first ever real tank was a Death Knight and I LOVED Unholy and Frost tanking.. with a passion. I miss the old Unholy Blight :(

I don' t like druid tanks, and also don' t like warrior tanks (no offense to them of course, its just my opinion!). I prefer pally->DK

Pala/DK/Bear > Bad DK > Warrior

I hope for a Warrior or a Druid..
BUT i only get DK's who cant roll cooldowns and paladins who dont use ANY cooldowns.. :)

Warrior, for nostalgic reasons. There also doesn't seem to be as many really bad warrior tanks as there are really bad DK/paladin tanks. Druids are generally "meh".

Firstly, I only want the person to know what he's doing and not be a total !@# with annoying habits. :P

I actually love all the tanking classes, so it comes down to their race more than anything. From a Horde POV I dislike having an Undead, Blood Elf or Goblin tank. They just don't fit. Tanks should be Tauren and Orc. Maybe Troll, but then it has to be a male. Even though Bear Form has no gender I hate knowing if there's a flimsy female Troll underneath. Tauren females are so huge, while Orc females are so manly that it doesn't matter. They can be tanks. :)

When it comes to raids there really has to be a Tauren male MT in it to make me feel right.

depends what im doing, for hots its DK and druid, for lfr its warriors and dks, and for normal its warriors and paladins. just with the way i heal each and what each class brings

Without being objective, Warriors. Being objective, paladins. When I see a warrior tank I get this feeling like I want to /hug him, while other tanking classes are kind of lackluster imo.

I like Paladins and Druids when I'm healing. Mostly because it's really hard to mess those classes up - one or two spam buttons and some filler in-between. You have to be trying hard to fail on these classes.

DKs are OK, but burned a little bit by inexperienced people levelling them fast and having no clue.

I dread Warriors (ironic as my main is one). Mostly because far too few know how to cleave or even hold aggro properly, which is just sad.

On the other hand, a well-played Warrior is awesome. I enjoy watching the gymnastics, disarms, spell reflects and other little touches they can do if played properly.

I love healing well-played DK tanks, they make my life so much easier so I can deal with the noob mage standing in fire doing 4k DPS. :P Like Windrage I'm not too keen on warrior tanks, I've seen more bad Prot warriors than I have Blood DKs. Although our old RL was a brilliant Prot warrior so I know how good they can be in the right hands. :)

As a side note, nothing evokes my ire as a healer more than a tank who stacks stamina and nothing else. Especially when they have the cheek to caps 'WTF HEALZ?' when they get 2-shotted.

I dislike DK tanks too. Partially from old memories before their overhaul, when they were taking lots of heavy spike damage, making me get hiccups (then healing it up themselves though).
And now just generally cause they do so much self healing, I prefer tanks who take steady incoming damage and let me heal it up, which is what im there for :P

Also I prefer standard stereotype tanks, wearing bulky plate armor and shields.

I always smile when i get a warrior in LFD. My favourite tank for nostalgic reasons + i have all tanking classes myself and warrior is my personal favourite.
I also like gnome tanks, they're so small and cuddly, while being awesome at the same time.
