Hello!
I play on Stormscale Alliance where most players are Horde. Stormwind is getting raped every damn time. Auctioneers are dead and trainers are dead etc. Why wont you fix this blizzard? I have already talked to a GM and he told me to post a thread at the forum so the devolopers could see it. ALOT of people are quiting World of Warcraft since this problem. I know more severs are affected with this problem. Please make free faction change on these servers and free character migration. If you wont fix this, you will lose alot of players since the game is almost unplayable. Best Regards, Kittys |

My bet is that the GM told you to take this issue to the forums, not to spam yet another thread about it when there's already this massive active thread regarding the issue: Low populated/ unbalanced servers http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2986509135
Please provide some sort of source for that statement. Just because you've talked to 10 people quitting, it doesn't mean that a lot of people overall is quitting because of this. |

I feel the same in Shadowsong. But instead, there's no Horde. A lot of Alliance though.

I'm afraid we have no new information to add to threads on this topic, but as we have said before in previous related discussions, we want you guys to know that we are aware of the situation and that we are looking into ways that we may be able to help in the future. Pretty much sums up all they will say about this subject. Nothing will be done about imbalances as transfers gain them money. |

Just because you've talked to 10 people quitting, it doesn't mean that a lot of people overall is quitting because of this.[/quote] My guess is he means from what's logical, it only make sense that people dont wanna play when it's like this. But I agree with this, some sort of automated system, that when servers are reaally low populated, people should be able to migrate there. My guess is that Blizzard wants people to pay for their transfers, which is understandable, all companies want money, and I have no problem with that. But when some servers are overrun with horde/alliance, it really ruins it for the other faction. So it would only help the players to be able to balance out the servers. I gotta say though, Blizzard are doing alot to balance out server numbers, but when the ratio between allies and hordes are on a server are like, worse than 70:30%, the more populated one should be able to switch over, but not the other way, that would balance it out more, plus give the players who maybe would like to switch the ability to do so, and for those who dont, well, they dont have to, the server will just become more balanced |

We continue to look into possible changes, we're not ignoring the issue. The cross-realm zones will make areas feel less secluded on low-population realms, you'll feel less vulnerable to passing raiding parties from the opposing faction. But aside from that, we don't have any news for you on this subject yet. I'll reiterate; we are aware of your situation, and believe me, we want you all happy and enjoying the game, and as soon as we come up with anything else that may help those of you who are unhappy on these affected realms, we'll let you know.
For now though, please continue adding your thoughts to the existing threads :) |
