Angered moves on.

TL;DR: Angered is disbanding, thanks for the great time and support Zenedar.
http://www.kindredpoker.com/kyle.wma (I don't actually sound like that, it's a put on voice) (Read the whole thread though, it's a good read) I just wanted to take the time today to say goodbye to the Zenedar community. Unfortunately, as with all of us, real life sometimes catches up. Our members in Angered, as well as the leadership were very lucky. We all had lifestyles that enabled us to put a lot of time into raiding during progression without having to sacrifice anything in real life. To give you an idea of why, a few of our members ran their own business', one is an athlete, a few were students and some people due to reasons that I won't discuss were unable to work. Long story short, we were lucky with our lifestyles that enabled us to put the time and dedication into raiding. Unfortunately as I said, life catches up. Myself personally will become a Father this year, some of the students are no longer going to be students and a few people simply will not have a life style that enables us to continue raiding for long periods of time during progression. So, from a leadership point of view we will not be continuing with Angered. Some people also no longer have the drive of passion for the game, Diablo 3 has pulled in a few of our players and simply put they're not going to be returning to WoW seriously. Some players just don't like the direction Mists of Pandaria is taking. I have given permission for any raiding member in Angered to take on a GM role within the guild and that is still a possibility. As it stands however, I think those that can continue with WoW will move on to other guilds. Personally I wanted to take the time to thank the Zenedar community for making us feel so welcome and for supporting us in the almost 1 year we've been on Zenedar. It was always my intention to raid lead and lead one of the best guilds in the world, but when we initially moved to Zenedar last year I didn't think it was going to happen. The Zenedar community had a lot of input in that, supporting us through Dragon Soul progression by contributing to our guild bank. I want to personally thank everyone on Zenedar that has supported us, I hope we gave something back to Zenedar somehow. Anyways, Angered in it's current form no longer exists. Someone from the guild may take the leadership role but personally I don't think anyone in the guild is going to. So, from my personally, thanks Zenedar and goodbye. P.S (I'll still log on now and then, maybe join a pug or two in Mists of Pandaria, we're just not hardcore raiding anymore or aiming for a high world ranking) Thanks, Kyle. |

Showdown best WOTLK guild,
Angered best Cata guild, Why must the #1 guilds disband :( |
Showdown best WOTLK guild, Because hardcore raiding comes at a price - you can't have a normal life whilst you do it. I should know, I was in Showdown back when they were good and really hardcore. Very few people are able to raid such demanding hours for a prolonged period of their life, as is the case here. When you are playing a game for more hours per week then you would in a tough job it takes its toll. Sad to hear the news, but GL irl guys. |
