Miserable playing expirience.

The server Balnazar once a great server with a great amount of population has become a burden for everyone and especially for me. The server has become a "dead server" more like a "ghost town" the pas 1 and a half year the server has a maximum of 150 players and now it only has 50. because of this there is lack of raid expirience , its hard to find a pvp teamate. this is the reason i almost took the decision to quit wow after 3 years. i have 2 of my main characters lvl 85 on this server and i cant stand playing. I can assure u that if you ask people everyone will tell u the same. the server has 1 major raiding guild that does heroic and the rest if they have luck they get in a pug. i dont deserve to have to pay for a payed transfer because the gaming expirience is lacks. Blizzard should either close the server and let people go to what ever server they want or find a way to populate. people dont want to go tto low populated servers, half of the time they prefer high, this is a mmorpg game i dont think i should be able to interact with 20 people max when i play. thank you . i would like to ask if you could give the ability to transfer my main character sundemon to a better populated server.

I don't claim balnazzar to be very populated or the best server ever, but you are a bit wrong imo.
The raidexpierence is there, you just have too explore it. Nothing is stopping you from making your own raids and getting some people together for raiding. It's even possible on the alliance side of this server.
Further due to the accountbound achievements, there is no reason why u should ask/demand to move mains since you can just level a new toon for free. With MOP inc everyone will have to gear up again and you won't be that far behind on other players.

In all honesty; if you really can't stand it just cancel your subscription and go away cause it isn't gonna improve soon.

I have to agree.

I left the game a couple months ago due to getting bored and alot of peeps and guild players i once knew had vanished (or changed server).
I do not feel as if i should have to fork out £15 per character (i have 10) just to move. Thats a whopping £150 and what happens if that server starts falling in population or sucks. Sorry but i am not willing to do that. There should either be a free move every so often (Blizzard wont do this though, as its one of their big money makers), or an option to move more than 1 character for 1 fee (thats 2-10+ or however many new slots are given with MoP) for say £20 (thats an extra £5 for multiple characters moves).

Right now i am using the come back for 7 days trial and so far have not seen anyone i knew online in just over a day. Seems the server really has dropped even lower which is probably goign to sway me at waiting before i even consider going for MoP. MoP has not fully had me interested at all but the FACT that my characters are on a dying/deceased server is really swaying me on the dont bother side. This dont merge didnt help other games and by the time they finally did merge it was too late to bring back many of the players. Is this going to happen here too, right now it certainly looks like it is.

Achievements and titles are BOA, just reroll on a high pop realm, levelling goes really fast these days, then you do not have to pay the fee.
If you really don't want to start from scratch, migrate one character a month for example.
This doesn't really fix the problem of low populated servers but i highly doubt they'll ever merge. Low populated realms will die and players will either move out theirself or quit the game and so the problem solves itself. Don't expected any sympathy from most players about that cause they all have the same options you do.

Aye and that is just exactly what i have done for the time being, for the past 2-3 months i have been playing SW-ToR, yes it has issue's but i will be there for the next 2mths at least. Then i may take a look at rift again, or may even take a gander at secret world. I have also been offered a beta test position for Dragons Call 2, i dont remember signing up for that but i was a tester for the 1st one. Always something out there, just if there goign to be anything noteworthy of playing.
I am also starting to think that many of WoW's population is correct in saying that Blizz will not close/merge servers as that would be a bad sign to say, but what gets me is why they are opening new servers for certain language's, now of all times? I carnt be bothered starting from scratch, and i wont pay to move my characters either, so i will leave. I have taken this 7 day comeback trial and logged in and so far nobody in 2 guilds have been online and only a handfull in another guild. They seem to expect everyone returning when MoP comes out (but not as many did with cata) and half of those left after a couple of months (most due to server population. Its not just about finding and grouping, its about the economy as well.

1.5mil were lost in the last quarters or so, blizzard knows they have bleeded subs ever since they launched of cata. Even with the loss of aroubnd 4mil subs they are still running the most succesfull mmorpg.
They did an effort for with crossrealm zones. This was a horrible idea and according to the feedback they got they won't introduce it,This is however still a rumor tough.
Yes, migration makes them gold but so do active players due to subs and mounts/pets in the blizzardstores.

Yes, they made Portuguese realms just like we already have French,German, Russian realms it's nothing to be suprised about.

Alot of people will return, maybe not all but everyone will notice a rise in online players.
You do not have any proof to back up that people left due to low population only. Most people i know and talked to that were leaving gave all kinds of reasons. I'm not saying the population wasn't a factor but it wasn't the biggest one.
Most people didn't liked the raidtiers. The pvp was pretty much dominated by shaman/lock/X for the entire exp.
and when 1 person leaves it's like watching domino, they sometimes leave aswell.

Just wanna point out, the economy on balnazzar isn't that bad. i've made quite some gold last exp!

Problem with the economy is not making money, but there's no reason to have gold here. As there's simply nothing on AH to buy, so people are just sitting on gold for the sake of having gold.

In regards to this, you will never have any hope of xfers away from Balnazzar for free but infact you will more likely get free xfers to Balnazzar to increase the pop, but even then Balnazzar would have to be in a worse state than it is in now.

Stormreaver Alliance should be free to transfer away from.. We are a dying breed on SR, us alliance. The big raiding guilds left, faction change or to Ravencrest and we are left with 9:1 horde / ally ratio whenever we venture outside any major city.
We are ganked to the point its pointless even to do quests in certain hours ( 15:00 - 19:00 )
Especially the stupid stupid major time consuming dailys... Gah - hello 7-8 hours of grinding dailys every day - is it a crime to have more than 1 lvl 90 - and I should be punished for this, why ? I honestly feel the horde faction is punishing me enough to stay on this realm. But Blizz - you used to be my pal, but now I have to grind dailys till I die ?

And Blizz wants 20 Euro per char ? WTF ?
