Topic [H] <SPEL> 8/8 HC. Recruiting for MoP. [Swedish]
Edited by Faithdruid on 27/07/12 14:08 (BST)
SPEL is a swedish speaking hardcore guild residing Kazzak EU. Our one and only goal is pve raiding with the ambition to beat as many guilds as possible in 10-man raiding. SPEL was formed and founded just before 4.3's release but the core of the guild have been playing together since cataclysms release. Before t13 we stood with poorly geared members and some unstable members aswell. But we managed to pin down 8/8 Heroic within a relatively short period.
Now we are in a very stable position and we all look forward to MoP. The objective of SPEL in MoP is to take a World Top 100 ranking during first patch. We are strictly a 10-man guild. That means we do not raid any 25-man Heroic content in progress.
Dragon Soul [tier 13] 8/8 Heroic.
Firelands [Tier 12] 7/7 Heroic.
Bot, BWD & TOTW [Tier 11] 13/13 Heroic.
Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider. Server First (@ Kor'gall)
Glory of the Firelands Raider.
Glory of the Cataclysm Raider.
During the progression of the Mists of Pandaria we will be raiding 5-7 days a week and raids can start at any time during the day. We will organize raids MoP months before release so that members have as much time as possible to arrange their IRL lives around it. During progression, we will not run alt raids, IF it turns out that it's worth it to achieve a high world ranking.
During the farm period we raid only between 1-2 days a week. We then have a main raid and two alt raids. The alt raids is just as mandatory as the main run. Alts are extremely important because during progression we might have to "class-stack" on bosses that require it. The applicant should include their alts in his/hers Apply. Do you not have any alts and will not fix it to MoP, don't apply.
We are only searching for players to MoP right now, but accepted trials will get into the weekly DS Heroic runs. We are NOT looking for a specific class or role, but a good players.
- You can keep 99% attendance. Of course it's okay to miss a raid at some point but you should be willing and able to (in theory) have 99% attendance.
- You can raid seven days a week and long hours without going crazy.
- You are bloodthirsty for top worldrankings and server firsts.
- You are competitive, but has no big ego and is dramafri.
- You can take criticism and do something productive out of it.
- We don't drag you online, your own desire does it.
- You can use a microphone.
- You can put the guild's interest before yourself (taking loot as an example).
- You are fluent in the swedish language.
- Last but certainly not least, you're a team player.
What can SPEL offer me?
We have a strong core of officers and raiders that have played together for a long time. We do not like drama between members, divas with the big egos or people who put up an act when you do not get a spot because the setup requires, will not be long lasting in SPEL. We treat loot as a tool for better progress and nothing else. We gear for progression and for the guild's best NOT to give you a big e-pen, or because master looter like you. We do not use a rotation system for who gets to play and when. Each raider is given the same opportunity to raid. If you get a spot or do not vary based on what the setups required for progression in a given encounter. But you will get the acheivment you want on your main while it is still worth something.
Would you consider applying to SPEL, be sure to spend plenty of time and effort you when you write your application.
We want to see your dedication to PvE progression and to gain acceptance in SPEL shine through your application, while also giving us a clear picture of your personality as a person and as a raider. Share your thoughts and ideas about what you find of interest related to progression raiding. Tell us about your thoughts and opinions about standing outside bodies which stand by, punctuality, trust between us raiders, loot, guild leadership, etc.
But we also need hard facts, type WoL or similar real time logs, armory links, explanations why you have chosen to have a "not mainstream" glyph, enchant, specific gear item, state (talk about the state's best in various situation for your class), your current progress, screenshot of your UI, age, what classes and specs you play.
As a 10-man guild so it is important to us as our roster is as flexible as possible, thus having gearade and playable alts is a requirement from our side, more alts, the better. When you apply for SPEL, it's important that you are aware we have very high goals that we want to reach. This means that all must be dedicated and willing to invest time in working to breastfeeding as a team to be successful. If you disagree with any of the above, don't apply.
