Hello fellow World of Wacraft community ! I would like to share a story that happened to me and tell me your opinion !
But first, check out this awesome song while reading this thread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOJIBsT-LZw A few weeks now as I am trying to finish up gearing my alt, while playing with my fresh-warcraft-mate-Pina (<3), we came across those so-called Alliance "HonorKill farmers". Unfortunatly for us this happened repeatedly that night and for numerous times during the whole week(s). Pina was losing faith to Horde forces, the whole situation made her really-really sad and frustrated. :'-( Tried to explain to her that loosing is part of the game, you can't possibly win every game you join, as that would make us all really-really bored. I farmed Conqueror/Justicar on two characters, many losses happened... *sigh* Really annoying to watch you and your friends getting farmed into your graveyard and on top of that, all that aoe-graphics gave me a headache, so I decided to stop ressurectiing my character and chill out a little bit, I know I am guilty for letting my team down, but It really was nothing I could do. Enemy team was just better than us at this round. Deserter was not an option as I wanted to play and not wait after this game was over. Anyway, fast forwarding to the important part, where Pina came with a brilliant idea as she was discussing this with the people at /bg channel: "Why don't we just ressurect faster ?". Noone really understood and we all asked her to enlight us. She explained to us that: - The faster we lose, the sooner we will join another game and our chances to meet them again will be significantly lower. - The more we resist, the more we will suffer, as it was pretty obvious that the farmers won't simple vanish and stop. - The faster we resurrect, the less time our enemies will have to farm us, because she noticed that the longer we force them to wait, the more resources will be getting gathered from battleground mechanisms, that means even more HKs, so basically by waiting we are doin' them a favour in an unexpected way... I don't know about you, but I am really impressed with Pita, for a new player she sure knows the game ! Speaking for myself only, she opened my eyes, my ego was pretending me to see the facts that were in front of me. It's not like anyone is goin' to win every single game he joins, in fact it doesn't look different from the average games that i lose, just instead of losing at any given point on the map, I lose at GY against those farmers...AND FASTER ! TL;DR: Bad things happen, move on. |

O hai! I agree that it's going to be faster no doubt but if I'm farmed like that, with the risk of staying there longer, I'l do everything in my power to mess with them.
It's called pride lol! |

Personally however , I hope all bg farm groups get banned for breaking the tos , and have all their hk's removed.....its called karma. |

@Naeya Troll / misfit / retard, whatever term you want to use. Yes, I'm aware she / he / it was serious about it. That's exactly what's so sad about it.

If you fail to see the issue with this statement, your parents did a poor job raising you. Besides, if we abandoned our pride we'd turn into shameless sub-humans like Auran. |

If you fail to see the issue with this statement, your parents did a poor job raising you.You may not agree with him, but how exactly was he breaking the forum rules? Relevance? I didn't call for the thread to be closed. That was your own (random?) assumption based on, well, nothing at all. I was questioning his morality, not whether or not that thread was 'legit'. |
