Just add an NPC at the start of each encounter, that allows you to disable the Debuff, and additionally allows you to increase boss health and damage by 10%, 20% and 30%, each increase grants the raid group 100%, 200% and 300% more gold dropped, respectively.
This will increase the challenge for bored guilds and also grant them a bonus(instead 750g~ players will get 1500g, 2250 and 3000g bonus divided in the group) Then add more vanity items to but with tons of gold(like that Yak mount) and walla, problem solved, elitist nerds satisfied. |

Attunements can die in a fire. Quest chains that revolve around the dungeons and raids as if they're actual places in the world, though? Yes please. However, don't throw away characters like Garona and Sylvanas who should have taken part in the raids themselves.
|
So why not consider doing guild-wide attunements instead of player based ones? Indeed the way it went in TBC wouldn't be the way to do it now, but surely there's ways to bring them back in fun and involved ways for guilds? |

1 Raid attunments only. 2 Let LFR be attunment free. 3 Doing attunments for lower tiers wont be as hard now a days, with all the tools avalible that we didn't have then. Because today it's easier to level alts(so more new dinged chars doing lower tier dungeons and LFR will keep em going in the old raid tiers) as well as we have real-ID/battletag. So if there were some really hard thing to do, you can advertise this on battle.net forums and have peolpe from your whole region join in, not just your realm. Cross-realm zones being introduced in MoP will bridge the gap on the open world group quest issues. But this is all under the assumption that the attunments take place in a group/raid enviroment. An attunment chain in styles of the 4.1 Zandalari pre-quests or the 4.2 Firelands pre-quest could be something that's mandatory to all who wish to enter raids on normal or heroic. Or perhaps, maybe fling in an event in the styles of The Nexus during the 4.2 staff quest, that'll be coolio-indeedio! Edit: Agreed with Mezzy, in his post right above mine, that sounds pretty damn awesome! :) |

How about making attunements account wide, and having them not include previous raiding tiers?
A quest chain that revolves around (i) grinding (ii) a bit of gold sink (iii) stuff you can do alone would be great fun. Just think of old naxx attunement, and add the challange of the rogue legendary dagger quest lines into it; and make them account wide. By making them personal quests, not only you feel like you've earned the right to enter the place, you also effectively eliminate the problem of having guilds help out their newer members by going through old content. This way, everyone progresses on their own, discovering their classes better on the journey. The lore would be great, the immersion experience would be even better. In Cata raids felt like instances that you teleport to kill stuff and get loot. Sure, Deathwing was around killing stuff, and you saw the destruction of it. But there wasn't any major questline (except the daggers of course) including DS. This made it felt like 'okay guys, patch released, lets go kill DW'. |

Attunements like AQ gate event a BIG YES!
Doing stuff before any1 can get into the raid is just great. You see the hole server working toward something. And after a gate is going down you alrdy feel like you did something for the server community. |

Attunements like AQ gate event a BIG YES! This. But, it would be a slap to the face for the "Raidracers" as if their server blows, they won't get a part in thr race. |
I don't think the developers want to do another AQ event, because of all the servers it broke. |

I just have to say that you are wrong. There were plenty to do in Vanilla, all the way till the end. Guilds had barely managed to clear Ahn'Qiraj when Naxxramas released. So people had to choose to either finish that or/and start with Naxxramas. Towards the end only a handful of guilds managed to clear Naxxramas before the release of The Burning Crusade. The people who didn't care too much about PvE had plenty to do too since there was an overhaul to the PvP system at the end of the expansion aswell! The ones that were not in the "TBC" beta didn't even notice that we weren't because we had a lot to do on live. This is also the reason (IIRC?) to why Blizzard decided to introduce Naxxramas again in Wrath of the Lich King, because so few actually got to experience the instance when it was first introduced. The Burning Crusade almost had something similar happen with Sunwell, a lot of guilds were close to never having experienced the last boss of the instance before the next expansion, but Blizzard were smart and decided to nerf the instance by 30% so that most guild could manage to finish it up "before it was too late". It's the most recent ones that has been booring towards the end, wotlk and cata. Please don't go around thinking that there are no vanilla players left in the game. :o |

however, my guess is that some people probably don't miss the need to do some ridiculously long questchain just to get access to the newest raid, but many might just miss the quests itself. It's not the Lore we want. It's the questline itself! Please read: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/4849015040?page=18#345 |

What about that daily quest thingy in mop and being a prerequisite to be able to purchase valor items? Isnt that a little bit off the mantra to allow any style of gameplay to be able to equip? Why do people have to do daily quests for reputation in it's current state of beta? Is that a subject to change? Tabards are a possible solution. Help! |

No. I like to raid. I don't want some questing roadblock delaying our start time for no good reason. Sure, some quests that actually connect the raids to Azeroth would be nice, but they should not be mandatory. |
|
|
They should build in the prequest to the dungeons you gear in. Like Karazhan, few quests outside and rest inside dungeons. |

Again, I like to raid. I stop doing 5 mans on a toon as soon as I have the VPs or the gear from each I need.
Stop trying to force me to do content I'm not over-enthused about doing. I despised the Molten Front dailies for this very reason, my main spec was built around a trinket only available from them, so I had to do them and doing them stood in the way of doing the stuff I actually wanted to do. |

Again, I like to raid. I stop doing 5 mans on a toon as soon as I have the VPs or the gear from each I need. So, doing let's say 2 of the 4 dungeons of the tier is too much? |

tbh they should be battle.net account based, you do a series of phased quests that you have to do solo, but only the one time, throw in a few mechanics from the raid and you got training for the newbs and a crash course for the hardcore.
For me the main thing about attunements was the lore, it gave you a fitting story for the raid you were going up against, i mean BT attunement was by far the best set of quests I've ever done (after the fact that i had to go into raids to complete it.) Even so you could make them not even optional, more of just a quest for lore buffs, i mean i'm sick of doing raids without the story being set up properly (barring firelands) |

People like you are the reason MMOs these days suck for being too easy... Why do you people want everything handed to you right away? |

WoW Really? Are you gonna destroy the game even more with this garbage, from relase!? So people will play though the lfr version the moment they ding 90, with half the raid afk and no wipes and spoil every single boss for normal and HC mode? REALLLLLLLY?????????? One of many things that are fun with new content is discovering new bosses and their abilities, alot of this will be gone if you can just steamroll through it on LFR version first. "Oh look, this is how the last boss looks like" And don't start with Normal and HC is different bosses, because you have already spoiled a big part of it by doing it on retard mode. Also inb4 "dont do it on lfr then" ofc people will do it on LFR; they are forced to do it since it gives you gear. I puked pretty much all the time for the first weeks of DS since we had to do LFR version of it for setbonues, but since it was so easy I could mostly just sit in a corner while watching cartoon.. You say the game isn't repetitive and try to justify it with DAILYES.... WOW REALLY? Dailiys must be the most repetitive thing to do in WOW, it does not help if you add 40 more, it is still loot X kill Y quests. Iam not even gonna mention pokemon, i had forgot about it until now. Why do you continue on the "everything for everyone" road, can't you see it's making the game dull.. If everyone can have everything, then there is nothing special in the game anymore. |
