[A-RP] A quick question to all you alliance folk!

Hello there!
Yes a quick question, though with a possibility for much discussion. I've been away from Earthen Ring for some time now, and even while I played here I wasn't that involved in the roleplaying community at large. It currently strikes me as rather interesting to potentially return, but if that is the case I would like to strike out for myself with a simple but engaging roleplaying enterprise. That said, I don't know what the alliance roleplaying community currently is up to, and what would be very much wanted? Is there need of a good group of humble criminals, do we need some proper knights, is there desire for a well organized military guild (quite possibly who are a little underfunded)? Drop your ideas / desires here, quite possibly those you've wanted to see for a while, and maybe we can come to some interesting concept together! |

Well, some criminals could be fancy, I guess, considering the most famous one, The Rose, just quit.
We don't really have any army guilds as far as I know, altough we do have the Guards, but, of course, they're stationed only in Stormwind. |

This quite a valid point, if you want to make a character that you're going to spend the majority of your time playing, make it something you want to do, something you know you'll enjoy, not something other people want you to be.
On the contrary! The new 'Stormwind Military' Guild was recently formed, I believe they're setting themselves up within the Community as we speak. As for what the community needs, we need a fully functioning, active Tavern with RPers willing to play the staff there. But that's just my own opinion. |

With the End of Death's Hand, there aren't any criminals left hanging about. At least not organised. If you were to attempt something, do that. It's a lot of fun. ^^

A tavern! We need a tavern! There may even be organisations set up in the buildings that just need a separate set of staff to run the drinking department.. |

We have about 4 members, but alot of people say that they are intrested in joining with alts. If they could do so, we would be able to open up. If you roleplayers are intrested in having a tavern and have a character slot free, throw an alt in our guild so we can open. Once the population see's we're alive they'll join... I hope :D Amleth, ER gives room for roleplay of any kind really. Some desire criminal-RP while some are fed up of that, some want glory-glory RP while others are wicked and cruel. That being said, it is pretty much free to RP as what you want to RP as. Something I think would be cool, would be some kind of a hero. Not just average flexing paladin, rather that you with the community forge a reputation for your character. Such as slaying a berzerking orc that claimed many lives etc. |

For a long time there has been nothing else then inside-guild military roleplay in isolated places on ER Alliance, and one criminal guild that is now gone.
Now the options are like military, military, military, military, or military. You can also go to church. The variety is extremely low, to say the least. So if you are starting a new guild, why not do something new with a new theme instead of more of the same. That could mean a lot to the RP on alliance side. |

Or there could be some expeditions organized to faraway lands, and have an expeditionary force or groups stationed there, getting together to bring new types of weapons, wares and/spices, groups that would be on a rotational basis. Fighting monsters and keeping darkness at bay, while trying to preserve peace and light into the darkest corners of the continents.
We could use the tavern to relax and rest tired bones and the church for mending scarred souls. If anyone is up for anything, drop me a line, I'd be willing to try something new. |
