Frost PVP - dem healers
|

Hi all,
Let me qualify this thread by first stating that you may assume I know very little, or nothing, I'd rather say that from the outset so I don't have to continue asking you guys for further info. Anyway, I play frost. And I am a little stuck with not just killing healers (which I don't expect), but even just pressuring them. The reason is that my FBs/ILs obviously don't do much out of a freeze, and I believe all healers can instantly dispel their way out of said freezes - I have DF, yes, but that can be trinketed basically, and counterspell is admittedly useful, but hey. I suppose the question is mostly what to do outside of deep freeze. Thanks! |

Youre really undergeared and you use way to much resi (Im top top geared and i use only 3500 resi as frost. ). Really low spellpower and mastery means you whont be able to pressure healers.
Replace some of your items with mastery PvE items (valor belt for example.) In general it works like this. You toy around a bit without putting out real pressure. Once you get the healer to 60-70% comfortably or lock him on cast just follow it up with the deepfreeze. Once your gear gets better its pretty much gg then unless he uses major CDs. |

Outside of BiS (so heroic) PvE gear offpieces you won't solo a resto shaman at all. Disc and resto druid are possible if they mess up at some point, paladin is possible sometimes.
Outside of deep you don't do a lot. Healer vs mage fights will be long and boring so sit around and expect a long fight involving a lot of forcing trinkets. The plus side is none of the healers will be able to kill you as you can sheep each and eat/bandage whenever you want - especially now sheep doesn't put you in combat. Often a healer will go offensive and like highlighted above allow themselves to drop to say 70% as they think they'll kill you (but naturally you evo heal later on), and from there you can drop them if your gear is even pretty standard like mine - and mine can be improved a lot by more PvE gear. |

Alright, thanks guys. I'm aware of the fact I can't do much outside of DF, I think I just find it frustrating that it seems to amount to nothing really :P
Edit: Anyone know of a good site/blog/whatever that just gives tips about PVPing against anything in general? I think that's what I'm in need of. |
