Level 60 mage solo Leeroy :PP

I'm leveling another mage now and then to get some perspective on lower level mage stuff. I decided to try and solo the Leeroy achievement in UBRS and yeah :PP
Went fire at first but those whelps are ridiculously fire resistant so it's a no-go, else one Pyroblast + Combustion spread would have killed them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgQsBqwzMoM Try it on your alts! To do it as fire I would have had to offer intimate services in exchange for boosting for certain spell pen items (and hope they'd drop). And I'd have to make a joke about new stats.

Well i went in with a group of Guildies around the level 57-58 to do Leeroy and they had already fallen before we got to the Whelp room. I buffed up in my current Gear and used Superior Wizard Oil, Flask of Distilled Wisdom and Golden Fish Sticks, Got my Shields up, Ran through with Felweed's Bubble that absorbs the 1k damage ( Not to forgetting to make sure i had the remaining Shields ready to go right back up ). As soon as i figured i had enough Whelps i Mirror Imaged then quickly Iceblocked for a split second to use Mind Quickening Gem, Icey Veins and Lifeblood. Blizzarding them down with my pet freezes at hand :)
We are rather overpowered in this day and age. |
