Not sure if this is the forum to post it in but.

So ye just curious as to why you cannot trasnmog your gear into the old pvp gear? Seeing as you added back gear that wasnt in the game anymore i cant rly believe it is because you want the gear to be somewhat rare and seeing as you are making everything else casual why shouldent players who didnt even own the game back then be able to transmog into the old level 60 pvp gear when they can transmog it into later pvp gear wich they never obtained either ? :)

You can, if you earned the right to.
People with Knight-Captain/Legiannaire can transmog them.
if you didn't get the rank back then, tough luck.

You can buy the DMF replica sets of the old high warlord gear

You shouldn't have posted about it anywhere in the first place as this has been asked and answered many, many times already. So instead of posting a new thread you should've used the forum search and read or maybe even replied to one of the many other threads regarding this.

uhh... there isn't one...

Only replicas there are, are from Area 52, and you need the pvp ranks to buy those.

Yes i know that you can get it if you have the old rank , wasnt my question at all my question was WHY cant we transmog it ? most of the players who got the old rank have quit and from what i understand of the old system you needed to have a certain rank to get some of the gear wich you dont need if your oldschool anymore you just need one of the lower tier ones , and also you dont need any rating to transmog any of the wotlk pvp gear that had rating requirements on them.

Seeing as they made everything else casual and easy to get why haven't they changed this gear set ?

Because the old gear is a "trademark" of old pvpers.
No one else has it, no one else should.

Thats just ignorant and why should only the ones that obtained it back in the days be allowed when players who havent obtained the other pvp gear is able to get it now ? like say the Vengful set?

Because they earned the legendary set back then.
It's Blizzards shoutout to players who bothered to do so back in the day.

how did they earn it back in the day if they only need the lower tier title when half of the gear you had to have way higher titles?!? and over half of the players on wow atm didnt even play in vanilla so :)

Indeed, over half of the players didn't play then.
It's a reward to those who did.

By saying that Ghostile then everyone who started in wrath shouldent be able to get any gear that was in tbc

You are now, talking about the most precious set in in the history of the game, comparable to tier 3.

You are missing out one set, because you didn't play back then.
And you are saying it is the same if you didn't get ANY items in TBC...

Funnily enough, the Vengeful gear was added back in again for a few thousand honor points. Can't see why that should be any different than the rest.

I'm not saying it is either.

I'm merely pointing out my dissatisfaction of how the transmog. patch was handled with certain gear sets.

I agree with Paula, though it does show prestige to those who were there "back in the day" its pretty pointless just leaving it open only to them, it only shows how much free time they had on their hands, nothing else really special about it. Not like old titles, mounts or items which can be obtained now with great ease which otherwise was really hard in its "prime".

They should atleast make that gear usable by people who have the appropriate rank from either vanilla or RBGs, imo.

1. im not stupid
2. For you it might be Precious for others it might not be its a matter of taste it was the same with Vengeful set too everyone loved it then they re-added it so everyone could get it now its not so attractive to everyone .

What im trying to say is no set that is still in the game (other then the current pvp gear ofc) should be limited to some players, just because they played the game 6 years ago when they are trying to make this game as casual as they can :)
