yes.
Why didn't you just try? Tho transmoging your heirloom helmet or cloak costs strawberries, as it is the ammount you get by selling it to a vendor, it's around 350g for helmet / cloak. |

However you can only mog it to something level appropriate and they are stripped when the ithems are mailed, so no changing them to look like high level gear on a lowbie.

Nah, I am wanting to mog it into a wedding dress or tux or something...... |

Good luck, but be aware that certain items can't be used for transmogrification. It doesn't make sense to see characters able to go into boss fights in cocktail dresses for example, so you may have to look around for something a little less flimsy-looking :) |

But it's ok for them to going into a boss fight with a biki plate set? a pirate hat and some stockings?

And supposed masterminds and such (ie Bosses) adopting a Kill Healers Last-policy does make sense? No offense, but WoW has always been a cartoony game with silly elements - that's what made it fun - and if I'd realy be offended by a Tank in a mogged dress I can always form my own group. Besides, it is much more worrying Tanks (or other roles for that matter) in actual dresses or other inappropirate Gear can queue for LFD. |

iv spent 3 hours progressing on chimerion hc with a chefs hat, i beg you to let my transmog into it :)

First hit on me searching for 'Transmogrification rules' in a random search engine:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3196342583 Good luck! |
I battled all whilst wearing a hat with 2 male genitalia protruding from my face. Makes no sense to me, but it did work! |

It would make the fight a whole lot quicker when the boss died from laughter if 25 people turned up in a cocktail dress. |
Thanks alot, I can no longer look at Warlock Tier 13 again. |
Doesn't make sense to see Gnomes being tanks, or Human female's having weapons almost bigger than them. D: |
