An answer to Ekosou and to all ABoC members, I know you have the Faylum attitude, surfing forums and just finding something to complain about, i've also been on Ravenholdt as most of you were, so please don't turn DB forum into a Ravenholdt forum, meaning going around others ppl's threads and complain, if you have something event related post, if not just do something else like gank RP-ers or I don't know other stuff that you guys are so best at. As for the question of leaders, Ivornator is former guild leader from Ravenholdt, Rargnasha is the organizer and leader of AWorld PvP Event, which worked brilliant, between him, Cis, Grave and myself until you guys showed up spoiling it, and me well I've been leading the A Team RBG of cross-guilds since the start of this seasons, and past experience includes organizing and leading PvP events since I transferred in S9, so I will be civilized and ask you not to start spoiling this event also, just mind your own business, you want to participate that's fine, sing up, you don't want to participate then fine also just do something else except complaining, cuz since you aren't actually signed up for I don't see any reasons to mind this thread or complain. For further reference as I am sure ABoC members won't stop here and will start qq-ing I won't answer to any of their posts, and I know that the following pages will be dedicated to ABoC members calling me names, as they did with so many threads on Ravenholdt.

I don't really see where they are trolling you in order to get that response Immortal, but then I guess that's just me.
However; the comment about the LoS issue is obviously and blatently correct, you say you don't want to give an advance to range classes, but the fact you're wanting to have no LoS automatically creates a HUGE advantage for ranged classes to take on an easily defeat Melee classes. Unless of course you're expecting all your ranged classes to be complete novices in terms of PVP, in which case the melee will simply destroy them anyway due to their gear/mindset. |

What do you expect the leaders of this event are: Immortalsoul, Gokul, Rargnasha, Enegora, Ivornator.So you think pve gear like legendaries or Rathrak HC is ok .... NEXT I think pillars will help the ppl that know how to pillar kite so the more skilled ones so it would be better to use pillars imo , also allow everything that is usable in arena to be used. TO qualify you have to win 2 times your opponent with 1.5 min/ 2 min break between duels cause if it is only one duel rogues ( prep) mages ( cold snap ) will abuse those skills and no matter how bad they are they ll win , i dont think a mage can lose from a warrior with cold snap so make it the first that wins 2 duels qualifies . Also dont let rogues to have 30 secs in stealth cause that is just too much they will go full HP while their opponent would get disqualified if they eat to gain HP . Make it something like 15 secs in stealth max. Sorry for my bad english:P |

Nagrand Arena? Has the best set up for pillar humping but plenty of space for casters, easily considered the most enjoyable Arena ever created for WoW.

That was well established by your own community long, long before we arrived. If you are however talking about the THHD vs DS forum wars i think anyone will tell you they were good reads, more enjoyable than peace and love and baby kitten humanoids! As for the question of leaders, Ivornator is former guild leader from Ravenholdt Did i miss something, since when does making you a Guild Leader from another realm capable of deciding and dictating an Arena style fight? In that case i must be a Gladiator.
Didn't he kick Gravelurk out of the club for refusing to just ditch us in the middle of an event, then destroy 2 of his own events in order to try get revenge on us during a fight? I do recall Ironforge being a complete disaster.
A Team? Do you walk into a shed filled with old paint cans and garden brushes and come out with a Mech Droid capable of taking out half a country? And you organized a PvP event wow, thats awesome son, i once created a pvp event :D What Civilized about asking someone 'to do something' then saying 'so mind your own business'. If you want something you don't insult or spit at people. Not interested in ruining anything. Just asking questions and opening the blinds.
So by asking questions and looking for answers about your experiences in running an Arena event which so far seems rather bias i am QQing. You keep mentioning Ravenholdt but don't act anything like one. Ravenholdt people don't whine and rage. I want to join the event if i know its balanced is all. :D |

NEXT Gonna restrict it to Ruthless only gear then? Weapons don't make a player great, I've killed a Legendary weilding Rogue who opened on me, in a matter of seconds. Legendaries are just a word, players should not be limited to the average because someone can't get what they have. This should just be an 'Arena' style fight everything thats in arena is in the fight, except perhaps tank specs and healing specs. |

I ve killed legendary rogues with my alt rogue that doesnt even have enchants or gems but if the rogue has half brain and legendaries cant lose but pve gear isnt the boggest problem , the biggest mistake will be to do it only 1 duel and the winner qualifies then is only Rogue/mage Horde Duel Tournament other classes are welcome to participate and get owned by mages and rogues .

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Immo & co. decided to organise this event for fun first and foremost. Think of it as duelling outside OG gates, with some restrictions, and chances of winning some gold.
If anyone doesn't agree with the rules (which I personally think are reasonable enough), no one is forcing them to participate. I don't think you can make a duelling tournament any more fair than outlayed in the first post, due to the game itself not balanced around 1v1. The closest would be making only one class groups, which would be boring as frack, IMO. |

Finally somebody that understands, thanks Lucio, what you just said is exactly the idea, we are trying to make some balance rules , even thought the game in 1v1 is fairly unbalanced, so players can actually have a chance at winning and the idea of the event is as you said to be FUN.
Also Eliphasx has a great idea with 2 wins, making 3 duels and whoever wins 2 is declared the winner of the fight and advance further, Eliphasx said that this is better for balance and I agree, and also this makes it a bit more fun and more competitive so we are looking into the possibility of having 3 fights in order to declare a winner. As I said I will keep the post updated with any minor changes we might make. The location won't be changed. |

I agree, you should ideally host this match in Nagrand arena tbh.
It's the most fair arena of them all, offers something for melee and ranged. |

I would just like to make a few points of my own as follows:-
1). Aboc are only trolling because they are void from attending. 2). We the organisers are funding the event hence we make the rules and are willing to listen to ideas apart from the Aboc guild direction. 3). All of Aboc's input will no longer be replied to!!! It's not pointed only at A.b.o.c, but anyone who's ever bothered to troll RP events in the past. I'm not a fan of RP so I keep myself out of it if there's no PVP involved. Do the same, this is an RP realm - let them be.

Are you saying then that anything a member from our guild suggests no matter how intelligent and relevant will be ignored and that all our members are banned from attending this Arena made by RPers who haven't even the basic clue on how to PvP, because we ganked RPers in contested zones? |

"made by RP'ers" hmm excepet Rargnasha there are no RP'ers here just to make it perfectly clear this is not an RP-PvP event, it's a pure Duel Tournament, created for FUN.
