Hey all,

I've decided to make a helpfull thread to guide people so they can buy the Trading Card Game mount(s) they want to add to their collection as cheap & safe as possible.

How to be as safe as possible while buying TCG mounts

As most people know, there are alot of "duplicated" mounts on the market. There is always a chance that the mount you buy is a duplicate.

One way to be alot safer about this, is ask the seller to email you a screenshot of their scratched card with the card code showing and their character name written down on a paper next to it.
(Example : http://i1198.photobucket.com/albums/aa451/Seyna-Turalyon/Other/LootCardExample.jpg)
Then, go to > www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/en/promotion.html. <
Enter the card code from the SS. If it says "Your code has already been redeemed for a promotional item on the realm “Server Name” (Europe)" and the seller is from the same server, then the chance of duplication is very small.

If they cannot provide this, then the chance of their mounts being duplications is high.

Two methods to buy TCG mounts cheap
____________________________________________________________

NOTE : Even tho you can see the cheapest here, it does not mean at all that they are safe to buy, see the post above

Method 1 ;
Use this website : www.wowscan.com.
This is a website that shows all TCG mounts that are for sale on ALL servers. A perfect tool to buy the mount(s) you want as cheap as possible.

Let's say for example you're interested in the 300K Reins of the Spectral Tiger on the Argent Dawn server.
Make a Lv 1 on that server, and contact the listed seller.
Ask this person if he/she would be willing to transfer to Turalyon with the mount to sell it to you.
The seller could charge you a bit more gold then what he/she asked for it on the AH because of the server transfer costs.

Naturally not all sellers will be willing to transfer to sell thier mount, but some will, so it's always worth it to make a Lv 1 alt on thier server and asking them.

Method 2 ;
Browse the "TCG Buy/Sell thread continued XXX" threads on the Achievement forums.
Link : http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/874701/.
Here players from all servers post what TCG mounts (among other stuff) they got for sale and thier prize.

You can contact them by making a Lv 1 on the server they sell thier mount on, or use whatever communication method they ask possible buyers to use (Skype / MSN / ...).
Then you can do the same as in Method 1, ask them if they would be interested to change servers to Turalyon to sell thier mount.
Again, they could charge more then what they ask in the thread because of transfer costs.

I don't want to flame the thread, I just want to let everyone know about possible duplications.

If a 150k mount is getting sold for, say 80k, in the achievement thread - think twice before buying it, as it's most likely a duplication, which means you'll lose the gold spent + your mount when Blizzard fixes the exploit.

If they cannot provide this, such as most "Re-sellers", then the chance of their mounts being duplications is > extremely high <

Simply ask any seller to provide a picture of the scratched card with thier character name on a piece of paper & the card code showing so you can check if it was redeemed on same server as the server seller is on.

If they cannot provide this, then it's 99% chance of duplication, wether the prize is cheap or expensive.

You can open a ticket to a GM, and make him/her check, if it's duped or not.
