remove need from lockbox?

I always wondered why is it considered bad to need on lockbox if everyone can need them? I understand it's a kind of etiquette to greed those but still it makes no sense to me. why not everyone just need it them? what would be the difference? Honestly as a new to dungeons I was really surprised that not everyone needs those when they told me I can't need them... ok I now greed them too but how on earth should I have known about this weirdest tradition?
so maybe Bliz could make those greed only like the chaos orbs... and btw does having a rogue and enchantment alt that DE's the lockbox contents on regular basis count as 'needing' those things? :) |

It's a leftover tradition from vanilla, when it was a faux pas to need them. It would indeed make more sense if they were greed only. Occasionally, there's this sad person, who waits till everyone has greeded and then presses need. I obviously don't care about the lockbox, but I do care about the sentiment behind such behavior.

I agree. I always greed on them as the vast majority of the playerbase do, but it's kind of annoying when someone needs. Especially the high level ones; there's gold in them thar lockboxes.

Sometimes there's another lockbox in the lockbox. Yo dawg, I herd you like unlocking lockboxes, so we put a lockbox in your lockbox, so that you can unlock while you unlock. |

My... other half had that happen to them about 5 times... as in there was five lockboxes... all in eachother... lockbox-ception? |
