/sarcasm on something that doesn't take too much time to develop so that the developers can stay focused on things that a vast majority of players will enjoy and do. why spend too much effort on something that concern 0.5% of the population... /sarcasm off that been said, the easy way to do this (very few dev time) is to add a meta 'insane' achievement which requires you to get the insane achievement on 10 characters of the same account (wow account not battle.net account), each of a different class. |

Nice read indeed :-) This is a great idea! I'm all up for it! :) |

Battle Master 'the warhero' Bloodsail Buccanneers exalted the Idealist / the Negotiator / the Diplomat / Peacebloom or whatever You get quests to get the prominent npc's of these factions to meet face to face. Talk with X, gather certain drinks/foods/items. After you complete this you start the actual meeting where they discuss peace. Negotiations will fail, but you still get a title as a reward. Maybe even add a meta to the warhero and the idealist: 'of War and Peace' (with an in game mail that explains how engaging so much time in wow can impact your life/health in negative ways) |

New insane should require some grinding reputations, Hydraxia Waterlords maybe? or just add some new ones :P and restoring Shen'dallar would be awesome!
I want new battlemaster. |
|
Actually. something that would be pretty neat is having a requiredment for this "new" insane to be to kill X players in the open world. This would encourage world PvP.
|
|
1 of every class at 85
the exalted title battlemaster title all part of a meta. |

Hidden Npc's in the open world, preferably moving about to avoid spot on guides granting a series of unique quests all tied together, once all are completed you get a title; Shady <insert player name> / <Insert player name> of the Dark Covenant. I like this idea, its something different to the usual grind this.. kill this or get that x amount of times :). Plus a world pvp achievement would be nice to help stimulate it once again. Various titles that can be achieved by doing open world pvp objectives. |

kill 10000 player targets that grant no honor, i.e. low levels
that would encourge more world pvp, excitement for low levels to fend for themselves and there will be players all over the map hunting each other <name> the Dishonorable |

Nice read indeed :-) In general I guess, it should be something time consuming - but interruptable, only little luck-dependent, generally by anyone achievable who puts enough effort into it (as in: Not skill-based), generally solo-able and optimally already track-able by current statistic information. I heard something about account-wide achievements? I'd say, this opens the possibility for something like the "Ironman Challange". Probably in a bit of an altered form. http://wowironman.com/rules Something else could be: - Get to level 90 without ever dealing any damage or healing (Would leave freedom for various methods to level up, such as being in a group 'leeching', gathering stuff from professions, only taking collect-quests, etc.) or - Complete all 'insert zone here' quests without the mount-skill or - Get XXXX Achievement points on a level 1 Character (Again, would leave the freedom to achieve it in various ways)... Although thinking about it, are there still points being tracked by individual characters?... Sidenote: People would need a method to track, whether they actually failed the achievement already That's all I can think of as of now. Maybe I'll add some more things later :) Edit: or - ->Walking<- along the roads through every single map (Maybe even backpeddling) |

I personally respect anyone who works long for the hard achievements like the insane title. But as many things else lose their value through time, nerfs are coming down to the titles as well. The same things goes for vanilla pvp titles. I got my char to rank 13 to get warlord (field marshal coz i was ally back then) more than 18 hours a day over 2.5 months overall. Now rbgs offer the same title. I dont say rbgs are easy ofc but at least for the sanctity of the previous efforts blizz should give different titles for rbg content to respect the old dedicators of pvp.
But anyway have always suspicions upon if blizz even care about our posts for reasonable requests... |

Something along the lines of getting 100 honorable kills on every contested zone in the world, would breath some life in the world.

I would really like a new Insane ach :D since the old one was alot of fun to grind
but I would like it more if blizz made it possible for me to get Exalted with Bloodsail Buccaneers. |
|
Just use the account wide achievements to make "To The Max" meta-achievements:
And some professional completionist stuff:

Insane in the Membrane was, it is and will be a hard achievement to get. Some people will get it easier than others. It doesn't really matter that they removed shen'dralar and they made darkmoon a bit more easier., the other reps are still very hard to get them to exalted. As for me, because i am a very causal player, insane in the membrane is still considered an unobtainable achievement and if i see someone with the insane title from my realm he/she automatically enter my hall of fame list. and i will really admire that person. |
