Yeah this type of content is supposed to be aimed at the more casual part of the playerbase , the players that won't level 85-90 in 20 hours but in 3-4 days. These people will have only 5-6 chances to get their mounts.
Another solution is to make it doable 2 times a day. |

If the Coren is indeed only doable @ lvl 89&90 this year this would make it quite hard for those having jobs and all which will greatly decrease the amount of time spendable on leveling.
It would be very disappointing to not be able to participate and having to miss out on chances to get the mounts this year again (considdering these are the only 2 event mounts I still require). |

Blizz could solve this problem the following way:
They already changed daily heroic dungeons from "once per day" to "seven times per week". So, just change "one bag per day" to "16 bags during brewfest"... |

These people will have only 5-6 chances to get their mounts. It still wouldn't help some players who may not intend to level up within the time but would still have liked to do the Brewfest stuff. I might bang on a lot about content at the hardcore end, but I think the casual majority should be looked after as well. |
|
Well this is disappointing, my chances of obtaining the Brewfest Kodo are going to be incredibly slim. I'm only going to be able to get 1 character to 89/90 before the event ends, compared to using all my 85s that I have on my account currently for a chance at the mount each day. :\
|
Right, so that gives us, after the 10 days you suggest, who sprint throught he new content you've been banging on about, 1 day of the boss. I thought Blizzard wanted us all to enjoy the new continent and content?
And for those who maybe don't want to upgrade to MoP you're taking away the chance to kill the boss, and a chance for the mount entirely? Poor play Blizz, poor play. |

I got very lucky last year in that I got the kodo and ram on my main, but as safe as I am, this seems a terrable way to play out Brewfest. If the dungeon is going to be unavailable to the majority of the players until a few days after release, would it not make more sense to make the mounts buyable with tokens from the venders this holiday? Everyone would be garanteed a mount, but atleast they wouldn't have their odds cut in half.

Hmm you are referring to a very small group of people there but still you have a point. Even though they have been doing that with the events for a long time now - upgrading them to match the current content. |
|
|
This. Give us a chance to actually do the daily dungeon every day of the event! |
|

I suspect a good number of players will take this as meaning that they need to blitz through content as fast as possible in order to reap the rewards of the Coren Direbrew fight. I don't think blitzing through content is something Blizzard should be encouraging (although, granted, some will blitz through it all regardless).

So, my girlfriend is doing ALL the festive achi to get the mount at the end (for what a long strange trip has been or whatever is called), at last brewfest she was like level 40 with her first char, MOP will release in the middle of our exam session and she will be able to play like 1 hour/day so basically she WILL HAVE TO wait ANOTHER YEAR just for ONE achi because we won't skip exams or rush content we wait since it was announced for a stupid boss? she will be so happy... SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy...

That's bad, but I won't have access to MoP stuff until 25th december because I'm getting MoP then. So that means I could possibly make it to Winter Veil. It ends on January 2, so no, I won't make it. And Brewfest ends on October 5. Yes, like you said. This has confused me so much.. |

why just dont use 2 diferent istances one lv 84-85 and other 89-90????
Problem solved... |
|
Why not make him a boss like raid-bosses instead - so three levels above the players? Having a lvl 84-85 and a level 89-90 will be messy for the ones that have started - but not finished leveling.
Another solution is to just make the mount sold by brewfest-vendor - similarly as the love-bird. |
|
That's just sad.
I wanted to try getting the Kodo this year. But with the "high" drop chance the few days remaining when we hit 90.... I'm already Brewmaster, so no pre90 content for me in during the event, only Coren is interesting. Try to make another solution for us all, please! |

And I was thinking Blizzard didn't want to encourage an unhealthy playstyle.
Silly me. |
