Hello there fellow healers.

I recently started playing again after a long break, and all of a sudden my Riptide mouseover macro isn't working anymore. I checked the macro and it's all the way it should be, it works for all other spells except Riptide.
It only works when I actually keep my cursor on a player, and not on it's unitframe.

Tried with and without Grid, to no avail.

This is my macro (which is use for all other healing spells too):
/cast [target=mouseover] Riptide

Please help me, as I am pretty much retarded when it comes to these things.

Cheers

Have you keybinded it to a mouse key? I know that in the past it wasn't possible to use mouse keys with mouseover macros.

You could get around it if the mouse had some software to allow rebinding of it's keys.

Such as with my mouse I have mouse 3 and 4 assigned as Alt+7 and Alt+8 or something to get around this.

Yea it's bound to a mouse key. But it always has been, and I didn't change mouse.
It used to work :(

Use this macro for mouseovers, it don't break normal casting support where it reverts back to normal if the mouseover condition can not be achieved.
#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover,help,exists,nodead][] Riptide

Its also not possible to use the mouse wheel click for mouseovers, not sure about side buttons but i'm suspecting its the same unless your mouse have some special software for keybinding as said above.
