This is a last chance for Ghostlands I guess before server transfer.
The War Machine is a mature level 25 guild with 6 or 7 officers willing to transfer main characters to another Alliance guild on Ghostlands and start at the bottom in MOP! - I myself despair at the lack of organised raiding and small fractured guilds that achieve nothing useful (possibly including ourselves!) on this server now. We are all over the age of 20 and have been playing for 4-5 years and know the score. Looking for a PVE guild with a healthy sideline in PVP as Arena play is a big focus for some of us.

Please link a website if your guild fits the bill or contact Science in game and hopefully by reading this it will convince other small guilds to take action and save the Puglands server from self destruct!

See this is the problem, I've been off wow for 8 months and your response is typical of this realm, yeah look up all the stats you want without actually talking to the person involved. Looking for a guild that is interested in the players not reading back the (freely available) stats from one of my characters.

Well - after a few days research I found my new home (hence the name change) a high ranking PVP guild... wait for it... that manages large social ranks (744 members no less than 30 online untill midnight tonight) This is the guild model that has been missing from Ghostlands for the past 3 years,.... it's an all or nothing realm.

Under estimating what social players (my definition is a 30 year old who has a job that requires commitment) bring to the table is a mistake as long as you take a few minutes to talk to the person and not the character... By looking at my profile do you ascertain that i am a bad player... that i don't understand basic maths and can't play what is basically a turn based video game... You insult the people that will step in if the RBG or raid team have been let down, the people who think nothing of donating mats or boosting guild members through the level grind... well good luck mate and as sad as I am to leave ghostlands after 5 years (were you raiding Naxx 25 at level by the way? hence why I transmog the origin of nightmares cos I'm such a noob) I'm not sad to see SW buzzing TB full and a guild I can actually aspire to rise in rank based on skill in the new xpac..

Bizzar you're probably one of the people in dungeon finder who types "Go.. Go..." well in the most polite way possible scr*w you and unless you are going to leave a response that constitutes more than two sentences and actually has a point to bring to the topic just don't bother mate.....

Plus show your main on the forums before you have a go at other players....

You're taking my comment way out of proportions, your OP was vague and the only way to gather more information was from your character sheet which was lacking as well. My reply was also based on personal experience.

When I was still raiding a group of 4 or 5 wanted to join us (only if they could all raid). Even though the guild was 25 man raiding on a dying realm with arguably quite a few guild members that were worse than the 5 that wanted to join. Since the guild was pretty casual (actually it was just !@#$) it created quite a bit of discussion in the officer chat. Take them and replace the scrubs who have been with us for quite some time or decline them and possibly hinder our progression or backup roster? Luckily the whole bunch was rotten and they left not too long after.

Now imagine the same scenario but with a group of people with no experience and just saying you know the score won't cut it, sorry.

I also don't understand why you brought social/casual players into discussion. Before you point out that I said "unless if you're looking for a social guild", it's pretty logical why I said it considering the aforementioned anecdote and the fact that social guilds don't really mind about player skill. It's almost as if you feel you're being attacked that you need to defend your position as a "working dad with irl commitments".

The fact that you view me as a 'go go' guy just proves you know nothing of me. How does it feel to be on the receiving end now?

I respect anyone who raided any 25 or 40 man content at level, I know it's hard for people to think back just because you can solo that content now. But it took no less commitment progress through the content, newer does not mean harder lol, It's such a childish viewpoint, ask anyone who raided in BC.

Anyway to come back from 8 months off (because lets face it cataclysm was not a great game) Ghostlands is a pale spectre of what it used to be and as spokespeople for your realm I really wish you luck on filling your rapidly dwindling med pop server - such a shame

It's you guys who have totally steered off the topic here not me.

My original nod to raiding was that I carry a 25 man tanking staff which I earned at level as to show in the right guild environment I am fully competent and able to work as part of a team. This is an obvious clash of personalities and the kind of players I want to associate with will probably nevr even visit these forums so I don't know why I bothered tbh!
