Auto cast when I try to drag spells!!
|
|
I just made a new character and I have a few spells that I want to re-arrange but whenever I click and hold a spell to drag and drop it, it casts it. So putting it on cooldown...
I have checked the interface options and couldn't find it myself, maybe i've overlooked something but if anyone knows what the solution is, ill be happy to know. PS: I use bartender, maybe that is part of the problem? |

Where can i find that option?

I was just testing this to respond to the post, and it does not make a difference to dragging the ability whether you have it enabled or not. Can you try without Bartender on and see if it works? Alternatively you can try locking the actionbars (Interface > Combat) and see if that makes a difference. |

It's found in Interface > Combat > Cast Action Keybinds on Key Down. (untick it) Could be worth a try, but it didn't make a difference for me when testing. |

Hmmm apparantly it doesn't with Bartender Off.
Guess ill have to play with the regular bars then :( Thanks for your help! :D |

There might be an option in the Bartender menu to change this - I for one use Bartender and it works fine when moving around buttons.
Type /bar to bring up the menu. |

Are your action bars locked? Try holding shift when you try to drag them.

In Bartender there is an option to switch between
cast on (mouse) button press or cast on (mouse) button release Open the Bartender options menu by right clicking the Bartender icon (It probably sits next to your mini map) or type /bar Select barS in the left column turn it on/off by toggling the second "square thingy" from the top It says: "toggle actions on key press instead of release" It seems to overrule the Blizzard UI, or at least it does so for dragging actionbar icons but it won't hurt to switch the Blizzard setting the same way You can find it at: (Esc) > Interface > Combat > 6th "square thingy" from the top it says: "Cast action keybinds on key down" (Arrrrgh, sometimes it is really frustrating to explain something in English, so please forgive me the weird "square thingy" description) (EDIT: "it is called a "box"" hihi) |
