i blame LFR for not making gemming compulsory. and a minimum of 3-4 enchants. |

At this stage of WoW, I doubt I'll enchant/gem my gear on other characters, because it will be useless when MoP releases.

Gems and enchantings are not required for randoms. I see gems and enchantings as something for serious raids and arena. Im doing very well without them. And since servers are dead or dying there are no gems or enchantings to be bought for a normal price. buying gems and enchanting for thousands of gold is what gets someone broke. and its hard to get money when no one is buying your things of AH. Gems and enchantings might get me to top dps meters. but thats not what im aiming for. If im doing well im happy with that. If we wipe its not my fault because i havent gemmed and enchanted.

I can be annoyed if someone did not take the effort putting at least green quality green gems but i won't not mind. Next expansion I would no longer be doing it either. I simply have to many alts for it.

They are too lazy or casual to care. And then they rage when you scream at them in raids.

Because my bazillionth alt does not have the same economic status as my main. And yes, it's a point for me to keep separate economies on my characters. And as I don't do dailies on all of my characters, some of them lack income, hence they cannot afford overpriced enchants and gems (landslide for 1450g or brilliant inferno rubies for 220g).
Still, I will outperform most people on their alts, when it comes to experience and effort (not economic effort) - and that's how I justify it. |

Likewise.. I only tend to bother with gems and enchants at max level.. Dont look at my pvp gear and say "Well you dont enchant" - I do, I just haven't gotten around to doing this yet as I've only just started to collect the gear. |

I agree on it depending on the stage. If you're in greens there's no point gemming or enchanting it. Reforging is the least people can do and when you get to blues you will hang onto for a while, even only for 5 dungeons, you effectively gimp yourself by losing out on the setbonuses if you don't shove green quality gems in there. Even wrath or tbc quality is better than none. When entering heroics, I do begrudge people saving their gold when it's as simple as paying 70 gold for 100something in bonuses. Because I as healer have in most cases have to pay for it in time or effort. |

you i know some who say they like the no gems/enchant approuch as it makes them more hardcore and makes the encounter more interesting to say the least it would be fun to see a 25 man dungeon run with all participents without gems,enchants finish said incounter and film it for us all to see I bet you cant :P

Enchanting can get expensive at some servers, but with e.g. Vendors selling cut gems for pittance, not spending 1-2 gold for the socket bonus & then join group endevours is a bit rude imo.
Note that I explicetly don't expect BiS stuff , but there is a fine line between frugality and slacking. |

Well I know personally I don't always buy the most expensive gem, often I will buy the green +35 stat red ones! And enchants confuse me but I try to keep up with those. I know as well a lot of people, myself sometimes included, wait until they are fully geared before they start gemming and enchanting so they don't waste money on something they are going to replace within a week. |

I mean, why, answer. This full cata prist 0 gems in WSG i faceplamed its hte best pvp gear you can get lol I told prist "hey dude, why you not socket items and l2p" |

now ya admit its worthless to spend gold to soon..maybe finaly increase the gold earnings we get? 18g 16g or w/e per daily q??...what will ya do about the ah overrated prices? for gems for pots...if a gem earns you like 10 gold for selling it to a vendor but costs like 900gold or at start 2.5k+ per epic gem for just a 10point stat increase? no wonder people run arround with no gems or buy gold from those scammers. whatsup with silly mount price from a vendor ? seen the new one will cost like wtf... the balance gol earnings / spend can only be fixt by blizz but you don't do much for it...make dailyq atleast few hundred gold per qeusts else it will get worse and worse mop comming be sure prices on ah for mats to lvlup profs etc pots will be totaly insane. and yet you need em for raids! ...fix ah do something good ... and offtopic: fix the bags slots we can get and voidbank extra bank tabs an extra normal bank tabs..you gave us transmo but we don't have the space for all of it!!!!! mop is comming i don't wanna farm all my curent gear again cause your cheap! |

Because I don't do heroics, raids or PvP and consequently never end up with an item that I feel is worthy or enchanting of gemming. This of course doesn't bother me since I don't do any of the things that would really benefit from it anyway.
