Topic Bear form more damage than cat form

Hello
I have not played the MoP beta yet but atm ingame, bear does more damage than cat.
I'm just lvl 66 but I even tested the single target damage on a lvl 60 dummy. I kept going until I got a stable dps and then read the numbers. In bear form I got around 1k dps and in catform 500-600 dps. In cat form I kept rake and 5 combo point rips up and kept mangling and refreshing bleeds and ferocious bite if possible. In bear form I simply kept mangle and faerie fire up and then spammed lacerate and pulverize.

I'm asking you to buff the cat damage so that it can be the main damage dealer again. If you decide to nerf bear damage instead, please try to keep our threat the same or higher. I've heard that bears have a harder time keeping aggro already, atleast before thrash and I've got a paladin tank and he's much easier to tank with. So if you nerf bear damage, please increase our threat koefficent to balance it out.

You do not have cat talents, you do not have glyphs and you're missing skills like savage roar yet. As cat form you shall be using shred, mangle only for the debuff... and you were probably also off-hitting another target due to glyphed maul as bear.

If you are talking about PVE then yes at your level I did used to opt for bear for any fight that wasn't 1vs1.

Once you have vengeance built up you can get through a grind quest with less down time just tanking it these days.

I was only using lacerate and pulverize when testing bear dps and you can't shred when questing. I think it's sad that bear form is better in combat while questing than cat form. Kinda makes cat form useless then :(

this again? low level combat is not balanced. cat form doesn't need a buff to damage and bear form does not need a nerf. once you get to 80 and above and start actually using a dps spec rather then a tanking one you will see that catform does way more damage then bear.
