World of Warcraft®

The Wow Factor is a transmogging costume event and they travel from realm to realm (EU and USA). Personally I'd like to see it arrive at Defias Brotherhood as I have seen some really good transmogs around lately and I think it be a nice event for the realm to show off their Mogs.

Would anyone else want this event arriving at DB?
I havent got enough gold to sponsor on my own but I'm willing to share gold with a few people who also would like to see this.

I'm not exactly a transmog wizard, but I'd be interested in participating , or encouraging people I know who are mog-masters to.

If you're short on prize money, you can ask all the participants to contribute a humble fee, say, around 100 gold, and just use that pot as the grand prize? If you've got enough competitors, it'll make for quite a nifty sum of gold, especially if you have some big spenders in the mix who throw in some extra cash.

I would love to see this, and thus am certainly willing to spend some of my gold reserves to help sponsor this!

Alright then, for those of you that want this brought to Defias Brotherhood and to help with sponsor's send an ingame mail with your sponsor money to Wowfactor (alliance)

I'll advertise it a bit on trade as well to see if people are interested.

Sure. This needs to be thought through more.

I guess if you'd like the wow factor to come to this realm, post the amount you'll be donating for sponsor and then can calculate the total

I spoke to another earlier. He/she seemed keen about this as well, although unsure about the amount of sponsorship (getting back to me later) i'm gonna need to see a lot more interest to actually make this work.

Well then, I shall start with 10k. I shall hold onto the money until we have enough pledged overall :)

Do you have an ally character? If you want to bring this event to Horde side then I'm afraid you'll have to try and get some Horde guilds interested.

I'm not really getting the response I'm hoping for here. Could you inform your guilds and friends about this?

I know I dont mind events that can be just for fun, and this certainly sounds like it is.
I could put up an OOC event and let some others Horde side know about this. Not everyone checks the forums after all.

The event is either Horde or Alliance, its not both at once I'm afraid. I'm hoping to bring it to the Alliance side.

It has been previously one or the other but I don't see why we can't approach jointly and central Shatrat is ideal for both factions. I'd be willing to throw some portals from Org on mage for lowbies who wish to participate.
