Ret or holy for arena in mists?

Hi, I'm not sure what spec will be better for arena in mists? I want to get at least a 1550 2s rating but can't decide what spec will be best suited for that task. I have played both before and enjoyed both

why in the name of god would u switch from mage to ret or holy for 1550 when u can play as mage and instant go to 1800 ish? |

Yeah because getting high rating ret is terribly hard, it's for sure a lot easier to get 2k as ret / holy then as a Mage. Mage's requires you to have some sort of coordination within your team unlike Paladins who can play braindead zerg comps to 2k. |

Sure I agree with you guys about mages being good for rating. My pala is my main and my gave so Id like to pvp with him. I reckon I'll go holy cause it's nice to survive in bgs. I'm just a bit concerned with the removal of an instant flash of light unless u get the talent to reduce it's casting time

With the offheals right now agreed. Not so sure wth Mists though.... Looks kind of different now. |

Ret got nerfed, (what a surprise) and it will probably be even further by the funny Mr. Spirit crab person. So if ret sucks, it might just be worth playing tool spec.
