Khadger has confirmed to have been neutral since his encounter in Shattrath, and also a member of the six, and apparently Dalaran will remain neutral and yet more Horde fan-boying as the Sunreavers recieve no punishment at all for being responsible for the death of Dalarans leader, simply saying 'sorry'. This is meant to be our moment of fist-bumping for the Alliance, yet we've lost one main character (looks like Jania won't hate the Horde entirely, just Garrosh, thus basically neutral and leader of a neutral faction), confirmed loss of another (Khadger) and gained nothing in return. |

Not really, it's constructive criticism which this forum is apparently made for. The simple fact is that the Alliance has continually been let down through WoW while the Horde has been allowed to flourish. Our last hope was Jania for some rational wrath, but alas, that's extinguished too by the looks of it. And to top it all off, it very much looks like she will be a NEUTRAL figure from now on.. Her hatred is reserved only for Garrosh, completely ignoring that the Orc natio whole heartidly supported him. Her hatred is reserved only for Garrosh, ignoring the entire Forsaken mess and what Sylvanas has done to the northern kingdoms. The Horde needs reprocussions to happen to them. Not simply 'oh, we're sorry, here, kill this lone guy and we'll be good'. |

I imagine that Rodger's will likely be used as an "example" of war is bad, and will probably be killed or punished. Hopefully not though, she definitely embodies Alliance pride and I'd gladly fight alongside her.
Jaina going full-neutral now is disappointing, the original soundclips of her rage against that orc captain were inspiring and showed her ready to fight back as an Alliance leader. I guess not, I wonder what Varian thinks of her new stance. |
It's a step in the right direction, but at the end of the day she's only a minor NPC. Jania was the leading human figure on Kalimdor, an Alliance character with a highly developed background and probably one of our main faction leaders.. and she's off to join the neutral brigade with our other starring leaders like Malfurion, Khadger and Tirion. This isn't meant to be QQ, but there comes a point where neutrality doesn't make sense. This is one of those times, and if the writers can't see that, then honestly, I wonder why I bother to read their lore. |

Well, you could always take up writing fanfiction. In fact, I'm working on a piece right now that's trying to make the WoW lore seem less biased towards the Horde, but without making them a complete joke in terms of military strenght.
And now it seems that, among other major changes, I'll have to make Jaina more aggresive and less forgiving towards the Horde... and potentially start a civil war in Dalaran... on top of making Garrosh and Varian less stupid... and Tyrande more assertive... and Malfurion more conflicted and less revered... and Cenarius more unforgiving for the whole "axe-to-face" thing... and Thrall more disliked by the Horde for "co-operating with the enemy"... I really have my job cut out for me, don't I? And to think, the whole project started as a Kael'thas/Vashj shipping fic... |
Don'tcha think that says it all? It's a depressing time when you finally acknowledge that your own writing may be more plausible than that of the creators. |

Jaina...Neutral? Neutral? Am I reading this right? After everything...Neutral? Perhaps she is neutral for the Alliance, and not neutral for the Horde? That's still Neutral, isn't it? Or maybe it's just a farce so she can fly Dalaran into Orgrimmar or something....never would I have thought...
Neutral? Why Neutral, makes absoloutly no sense. If she is going Neutral, then she would be better off in Theramore, were she makes no difference whatsoever, but atleast is on the Alliance side.... |

Or maybe it's just a farce so she can fly Dalaran into Orgrimmar or something....never would I have thought... Remember, Metzen has promised that the Alliance will get fistpumping. Obviously, the plan is for every single Alliance member to become neutral. Then, they can be allowed to join the horde. Since they now in the "unquestionable" better faction, they can fistpump each other all round! |

no surprise that Jaina turns neutral and forgives everyone with no reason too. It's par for the course really. Isn't Anduin meant to be neutral aswell now?
