"Tank Time After consideration, we are a bit worried about paladin survivability as well. Shield of the Righteous, buffed by mastery, is a massive amount of mitigation, but the risk is that whenever paladins didn't have it available, they'd risk spike damage. (As an aside, it was also weird for paladins to suddenly be the spikey tank after years of being the opposite.) We're going to increase the Stamina benefit of Guarded by the Light from 15% to 25%." Guarded by the Light Increases your total Stamina by 15% and your block chance... Im i bit confused about the better way to gem right now. Is stamina the way to go? |

Seems so, but until MoP come out i'm giving up on tanking and sticking to healing....

I'm loving tanking on my pala now. It just seems so much more interesting. Sure I feel a bit spikey occasionally (normally on pulls) but I'm ironing out the kinks. With well timed sotr's you can even smooth out massive hitting abilities like hc impales or hagaras focussed assault. It's great! |

I'm the same as Dejadeux, I'm loving my prot pally at the moment, I love every aspect of our tanking at the moment. I am gemming for stamina and I'm finding it brilliant at the moment, I don't seem to have any spike problems though which obviosly I'm glad about.
I don't really understand what people are having problems with at the moment or why you would stop tanking now? Surely it's better to practise now and smooth out the kinks on the content we already know rather than waiting to learn how to play a new style on new content. That's just my opinion though, I'm ready for MoP now, they give us this time for a reason I suggest you take advantage :D |
