Since yesterday afternoon, I've been unable to log into any character on any realm as the loading screen hangs at 90%. Note that unlike other people having this issue, I don't get disconnected, the game just loads forever.

Things I've tried, in no particular order:

Deleting my Data folder and running the game

Deleting my Interface.mpq and running the game

Disabling "optimize network for speed"

Logging into characters on Laughing Skull, Silvermoon and Quel'thalas

Making new characters on Laughing Skull and Deathwing, and trying to log into those

Activating recommended settings

Deleting the Cache folder, both in the main directory and the Data folder

Disabling all my addons (Though they weren't loading due to being out of date anyway)

Restarting my PC

Renaming the Temp folder

Deleting the WTF folder

If it's of any relevance, I'm running WoW on Linux through WINE 1.5.5.

Myself also. . . . . . . . . . . . . . (Tried all of the above, alterative servers also)
Managed to get in a couple times on low level characters but no 85's.

Hi Donut, I've been experiencing that exact problem, also running wow on wine 1.5.5.

On a different wow account though, I'm able to log on any character on any server that I've tried, so I feel that it's likely not a Wine/Linux issue.

I had a gut feeling it wasn't an issue with wine, since I'd been playing just fine yesterday morning. Just felt it was slightly odd that everyone else reported getting DCed after a certain amount of time on the loading screen, whereas my loading screen just hangs.
