Hi all, i havnt read the same problem on the forums yet so i hope i can get help here.
Also sorry in advance for mispelling as english isnt my main language.

This morning i started patching, evrything went fine (didnt get the stuck on 0% like allot of ppl had) After it was done i wanted to test if evrything was good so i started the launcher and pressed play (i knew i couldnt log in, but just wanted to know if i could start the game at al)

But heres the problem, i heard the cinematic playing, and saw the wow bar in my taskbar flipping (opening and closing over and over without interupting the sound if the cinematic) while i was staring at my desktop as if wow hadnt started at al (only the sound of the movie revealed it, and the taskbar flipping)

So i thought ok, maybe the gamefolder got corrupted im gonna do a clean install as addons are not going to work anyway. So i deleted it trough the configuration panel, and downloaded the new installer of battle.net.
Waited one and a half hour to finish (slow download) and tried again, guess what? Nothing has changed eccept for one thing. Now before the cinematic starts the screen goes black for a split seccond and then im back at my desktop again. My taskbar isnt flipping anymore, but there isnt a wow bar in the taskbar at all. Though on the background i still hear the cinematic and the only way to stop it is to close wow in the taskmanager.

Im running it as an administrator, i tried to run it without using virus software on, curse and firewalls. Nothing helps.

My system specs:
CPU: Intel core i7 950 quad core
Motherboard: Asus saberthooth x58
RAM: 6GB ddr3 1600 mhz
Videocard: 2x Nvidia gtx 460 (1024MB gddr5) In SLI

Using dualscreen, each screen on a difrent videocard (dont know if its relevant so i post it anyway)

Ok i tried to start it as 32 bit client. Didnt work, difrence is that it starts opening/closing is the taskbar again, and no black flash before it "opens"

Fullscreen mode makes it disapere with music on and to shut it down you have to go the taskmanager.

Window mode makes it look like its starting itself agin and again.

Both cases music plays fine in the background

i have the same problem when i login, i click enter world on the character selection screen, when the loading bar gets to 90% it sticks and i disconnect from the server after a short period. cannot get into the game at all presently due to this

I think you didnt read my post right, my game wont open at all, -nothing but background sound of the cinematic- while staring at my desktop.
So i cant even get to a loginscreen :/

almost the same problem just that i can't get to the download i just download the blue preparing bar then wow shuts down *_* can anyone help?

try changing your direct x version to 9 instead of 11 in the launcher

as when you patched it auto sets it to direct x 11
