It seems that this problem arises for players with the Radeon Mobility HD series.
My laptop has a ATI Mobility Radeon HD5730, and I am also experiencing the same problem as yours. |

Hiya
I had this problem during the beta. I lowered some graphics settings and everything returned to normal. Hope this helps you. |
|
I also have this problem, pre-patch i could play on max graphics settings but post patch (MoP) even on low-medium after 1 dungeon everything is black.
I have however found a temporary solution. If it gets ridiculous or annoying just press 'esc' and click 'system' click the dropdown menu for screen resolution. Re-select the same screen resolution that is already applied. Then click 'apply' This should remove all of the black graphics and return it back to normal. However, the black graphics will return but as far as i can tell you can keep doing this every time it gets annoying. Hope that helps you at least long enough for Blizzard to tell us what the problem might be and possibly give it a fix since its likely something to do with the new patch. |

Hi all
Does anyone knows if blizzard is trying to solve this problem ?? |
|
As ATI drivers are still a month old I would wait till the next lot to be distributed, It can't be long now.
|
|
I had FPS problems, stuttering and black areas since the patch, did everything I could nothing fixed it until I got a new graphics card (http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/GT6402GD3/) now everything is great again.
Got same issue on friends computer she is replacing her graphics card this week too, both our computers are just 2 years old with good specs. |

|
Yeah, still happening, even with lower graphics settings. A restart fixes it, but after a few random minutes of playing it creeps back in.
Very annoying. Also annoying that as yet there does not appear to be a single word of help on the issue. |

Hi there all.
When I did have a Radeon graphics card (recently swapped to a GeForce) I also had this problem. The method I used to fix it was to download ATi's Catalyst program and then run it to download the latest available drivers for the graphics card I was using at the time. Before anyone says "Oh but my drivers are already up to date!"; so were mine. I'd downloaded them from the ATi website and Windows was also saying up to date, but it was still happening. The link I used is here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx Input your information and go to the next page, the download is "Catalyst Software Suite", after that it's pretty self explanatory. This fixed it instantaneously for me, so it may well be worth trying for others. Cheers! |

Hello,
Can you also check the specific AMD Application Profile avialalbe via the link Rathos provided? AMD have provided a custom application profile for Mists of Pandaria that seems to be fixing a large amount of issues that AMD users are finding with the game. |
