So I watched the trailer with the panda taking on the Orc and the Human and thought it was nicely done, however one thing I cannot help wondering about..
If the Pandaren race is tough enough and disciplined enough to protect their own race why on earth would they need to choose to side with the Horde or Alliance? Maybe it would have been better to make them a neutral third faction? |
|
Do you know the lore behind why they're doing it yet?
Genuine question, I don't have a clue either. There must be a reason why. |

No I don't, but it does seem strange how such a united race could be so easily divided.

Playable Pandaren are the ones who left their homeland of Pandaria ten thousand years in the past, they're born on the Wandering Isle. So none of them know anything about actual Pandaria.
|
|
And actual pandaria needs your help the moment horde and alliance cause the Sha to get out of hand anyway.
If you want to know why (I won't spoil), the shado'pan are meant to protect pandaria from the sha but they have clearly failed. |
That guy was Chen, the Chuck Norris of pandas. |
|
|
Because the anger and hatred of the Horde and Alliance provoked the Sha that threatens Panderia, now Pandarens need the aid of the Horde OR the Alliance.

The Pandaren living on the Wandering Isle are indeed the ones who are forced to pick sides, not the Pandarens of Pandaria. :-) If you are interested in learning a little bit more about Pandaren lore, these are some good links to check out: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/game/mists-of-pandaria/pandaren/ http://www.wowpedia.org/Pandaren |

Warcraft never had an adult theme. Warcraft was never not suitable for children. |
