Bots all over the place!!

I was looking for a place to farm embersilk cloth to level my tailoring on my newly 90 mage, and i was told that Uldum is the best place to farm it, at the "obelisk of the moon" area.

So i went there, and what i came across was a thousand of bots farming the neutral mobs and the aggressive ones for hours.

They are still there, 5 hours now, and its very annoying cause i want to farm some cloth and i have to face like 10-15 bots which is kinda impossible. No matter how many times i killed them, they still come back instantly and start farming again and again.

Blizzard seriously needs to do something about it.

P.S: i dare you, go in your realm in uldum at the obelisk of the moon and go under it, where those mobs are, and see how many bots you will find there, its beyond any imagination.

And you had to spam yet another thread about this why?

There are more topics about this?

If that is the case then it's a sure sign that bliz need to pull their finger out and do something about it. Botting is to be expected in a f2p MMO but is unacceptable in a p2p one. Surely bliz have the technology to detect bots and instantly ban associated accounts. :/

They do care, they do act. Stop being such brats over it. Just because YOU do not see it happen, that doesn't mean they don't care. I reported a botter in Storm Peaks that had a loop on flying around for the TLPD. 2 days went and he was there day and night, but suddenly he was gone and it turned out the dude using the bot on an alt, had a toon in my guild on that server. Later his friends told us he got banned for botting.

They act, they care, you are just not included in the process...

This might sounds sad, but I think Garrosh Hellscream would take a wiser and more skillful approach in dealing with the bot problem.

Rare exception it seems. The kind you use for propaganda to divert attention from the reality of nothing improving.

Yeah, that's definitely going to work well. How can they possibly do anything else but listen when people clog up the first page of a sub-forum with threads about the same topic. The chance of it just annoying everyone else and ending up getting people banned is nigh on impossible.

Win-Win situation! Farm honour while farming cloth.

General is spammed with threads not belonging there all the time, why do you now complain about multiple threads about a problem that deserves that extent of attention due to the problem's extent?

It could still the same amount of postings, whether in one thread or in many. But since blues rarely move other 'foreign' threads out of General to the right topic, why the sudden interest in this case?
They want to make a forum ghetto for players who are fed up with the botting problem so that they don't unsettle the sheeple. It's very similar to what happens in real life social politics.

They probably don't swim in money, but there are some heavy drinkers. (shareholders and a titan)

Wrong. That is not how it works at all. Seeing 20 threads on the same topic with no fresh information or points of view is not helpful to us at all, and will not make the situation improve any faster. We're working with the developers and customer support to tackle the problem of bot programs. In the mean time, please try to avoid posting fresh threads on the topic and keep discussion to one of the existing ones. Spamming the forums will only prevent other important topics from being discussed, and that's not great for anyone either.
