In the general chat I see people spamming that they need more for a rated battleground, and that theres a min. CR. But what does CR mean and where can I check it?
First I thought it was your RBG rating but I believe it isnt.. so??

Current rating.

Edit: They ask for for example 2200 exp. That can be from previous seasons.
And then they ask for x cr. Thats what you have now.

na

mmr is not your current rating it's your calculated rating by the system

let's say your rbg group wins 5 games in a row (every char is a new char, which had never seen a rbg before)

your group's mmr starts at 1.5k (it actually is like that)

so after winning 5 games in a row your CR is at (192*5) 960
while your group's mmr is increasing by an amount of your enemy's mmr.

dunno it's kinda hard to explain...i'm going to find an explanation for you

thanks for explanation and link.

and yes I understand they are different at start. but after winning some games it will eventually be the same and continue to stay same (for personal ratings).

team rating is another subject.

Its not the same.

Lets assume someone played at 2400 last season but didnt play yet this season.

His CR will be 0, but his MMR will still be 2400.

My monk played 12 games. His CR is 1200 but he played at 2100 MMR so his MMR will be about 2100.

sorry I Guess I couldn't explain it.
What I was saying is, after your monk goes up to 2100 CR, your MMR and CR will continue to change together and in same amount. Is this wrong?

It's wrong because they are two different values, where your CR is more cosmetic, and your MMR (which is hidden) is what pits you against others. However, after you reach a certain point (2400~) you will be in the top bracket of players.

Essentially:

Current Rating is the current cosmetic rating you have. No calculations are done except tier unlocks.
MMR is the match making rating that determines what level of opponents you are matched against, and is the true representation of your skill. These values can differ for sure, based on when they are taken.
