the two reasons I left my Rogue in this expansion is:
- Boring rotation/playstyle.
- Only daggers are truly viable.
Seriously? I was voting for daggers in TBC, where daggers were garbage. But it seems just boring, that we cant be viable with any other weapon. It can look dull only using butter knives.
All other melee classes have Maces, Swords, and Axes or even Fists.
We only got daggers today.
It's an animation issue. Daggers have different animations than swords and so on. That's why in 5.2. you can transmog Swords into Maces into Axes, but Fists and Daggers can't be mogged into other weapon types. I doubt this is a high priority, but I still hope they figure it out during this expansion.
Thing is we are not viable, and can only use combat spec.
If you transmog to a sword = use sword animations. Fixed.
i don't see the problem here.
There's 3 specs, but only one for non daggers.
Try to understand
Why is that a problem though?
That doesn't really have anything to do with the mechanics of the respective specs, now does it. This class probably has the most boring animations anyways. We don't have any flashy spells or moves, really. I find it just... odd, that someone would find the artwork on Rogues to be a deal breaker, since the class has never had much of that anyways. To each his/her own, though.
For me this class revolves around its resource system and Stealth. To me those are the defining factors of what make a Rogue in WoW.
It's an art issue. Can't transmog Daggers into Swords, since they have different animations. Would be a nice QoL-thing to have that issue addressed, but honestly, it won't make or break the class.

Hmmh....... I don't see why they simply cannot use the animations from the mogging either? Is there a technical reason I am overlooking?
