The Final Titan (5.2 - 5.4 spoiler)

Spoiler for those who haven't got past the titan runestones or haven't heard the Wrathion PTR files.
Upon bringing Wrathion the Thunder King's Heart, he eats it, at which point he gets posessed and speaks in mogu voice:

WE HAVE FALLEN. WE MUST REBUILD THE FINAL TITAN. DO NOT FORGET.

Than, during the Escalation storyline, we're introduced to Dark Heart of Pandaria scenario, where meet titanic watcher Norushen, who was responsible for guarding the container holding the heart of Y'Shaarj.

And now, with datamined files for Siege of Orgrimmar, we now see that he's a boss as well, but more in a style of Valithria Dreamwalker.

We do not fight him, but instead he blocks out the exits into a quarintine zone (much like in scenario) and than forces out the Sha corruption out of the players, creating the boss.

Than further, while facing the Sha of Pride, he helps players, by protecting them from corruption and empowering them with titanic power (probably much like Engine of Nalak'sha from Elgalon).

Putting all the pieces together, Norushen was created for sole purpose and empowered with ability of expel the sha corruption, he was set to guard the Heart of Old god, but Mogu, due to curse of flesh forgot about it.

If Norushen survives the events of Vale and is taken to Orgrimmar, it's likely he mite be able to expel Garrosh's corruption... that is assuming that Y'Shaarj's direct corruption can be dispelled, considering that he was unable to purge the poor gobline in the scenario nad we had to kill him instead.

This also puts into perspective as to why the mantid, kept attacking the lands beyond the Wall. Some of them (as proven by Klaxxi paragons) have been locked away in embers for countless eons and are probably aware of their former master's final resting place, which would also explain their presence in SoO.

Interesting

This could mean that if he does get to Garrosh he may save him-and it may be a hault in killing him.

While I personally think Y'Shaarj will make his come back as a heroic only boss and I like all that the OP wrote. Garrosh needs to die. He has caused too much destruction and thrown the world into chaos.

Like Mace Windu said about Darth Sidious: He's too dangerous to be kept alive.

Nice reference Skrauhg. But i personally don´t hope that Y'Shaarj will be a boss because Old Gods are far to powerfull for us mortals! Hope he returns to Pandaria, With Norushen escorting him back to his confinement.

Cleaning Garrosh of Old God powers doesn't really solve the problem though. He is a jerk, to put it mildly, he was a jerk for a long time now and I don't see why he would stop being a jerk once Yshaarj's power is taken from him.

I have been wondering about that sentence "We must rebuild the final titan." for a while now. Rebuild means that he is destroyed and/or dead. So far the only titan we know of that has fallen is one that fought Cthun as told here:

http://www.wowpedia.org/The_Prophecy_of_C%27Thun
In the time before time, when the world was still in its infancy, a battle between a Titan and a being of unimaginable evil and power raged on this very soil. The prophecy is unclear about whether or not the Titan was vanquished in this battle but it illustrates that a Titan fell. An Old God had also fallen - or so it was thought.

And why is the vision, or whatever it was that Wrathion experienced, (transmission? memory?) calling the titan final? Last titan to be made/born? Last one remaining? Last on a certain mission?

I take it to mean Sargeras.

Although it doesn't make much sense in terms of alignment, I assume it was referring to bringing Sargeras back in Azeroth

I think it suggests, that when Y'Shaarj was killed, one titan also fell, but was not killed/destroyed.
Mogu lore object "Shadow, Storm, and Stone" depicts whole scene and names Titan as "Storm". According to this it is possible, that "Storm" lost his "Stone" (Storm's will was done. Stone's purpose fulfilled.). That could mean...that Titan succumbed to the Curse of Flesh. (=fell)

Then, Mogu were tasked to rebuild him/repair him, but obviously failed, succumbed to the Curse of Flesh too and forgot their purpose.

And I think that this Titan could be Ra-den. He looks exactly like fallen Titan who semi-succumbed to the Curse of Flesh. And he is hidden under Throne of Thunder - Lei Shen probably stole his power...Lightning power...power of Storm.

Lol Spetznaz... No neither you nor me or anyone of us have killed anything BUT the weak manifestation of Yogg-Saron and C´tunn... The things that we "killed" were but a fraction of The Old Gods true power. We are nothing compared to them.

Well it only seemed like only a fraction of mortal true power was present wasn't? There was no mana bombs, nor dragon aspects nor night elves sacrificed their immortality. Just a normal battle finished by mortal heroes.

We don't know what powers we would have if whole Azeroth humanoid united. And it's not like Old Gods are bffs
