so i have made a new build for my MW monk, after getting the legendary meta gem, and just wanted to share it.
2: new rotation prio
renewing mist on CD (to gain 1 chi, and chance to proc meta)
UpLift (on meta proc)
surging mist (on instant cast, to gain 1 chi, and chance to proc meta)
mana tee (if mana is below 50%)
expel harm (to gain 1 chi, and chance to proc meta)
chi wave (chance to proc meta)
jab (to activate muscle memory)
blackout kick (if serpent´s zeal isent active)
tiger palm (chi dump)
you need something to keep track of meta proc. i myself uses weakauras.
when dooing your nomal FW rotation, with the add of renewing, you keep all players HOT´ed, and with the uplift now costing mana instede of chi, you can spam it when your meta proc (2-4 times depending) for free mana.
PLZ comment, and add ideers, i just made the build today, and is still in testing, but sofar its just IMBA.
edit: have removed the MV part, since i found it lesser effective then normal MV healing

i guess this is focus on 25 man raiding.
10 man most healing goes on both Tanks. Rotating Enveloping Mist and Renewing Mist on them both and not letting those 2 Hots fade on the tanks. If i do this rotation properly i always be on top on meters every encounter against Shaman, Disc priest, Paladin. Its a very strong Tank healing rotation.
1: Enveloping Mist
To be Honest i dont use Uplift and Surging Mist in 10 man because its draining to mutch mana and i loose all Chi points on it instead of Keeping Tanks Alive.
Ofc This is the Oposite when healing 25 u need like Dachix posted a blanket of Renewing Mist and just spam Uplift.
Healers in my guild are pretty mutch on Par with eachother and noone realy stands out except very few gimmicky fights which favors a certain healing class.
Beleve i tried going with the normal Uplift rotation but i ended up killing tanks and getting OOM so at my gear status it sucks for 10 man content.
This is my biggest Gripe. It keeps healing Pets and other non critical targets ! i wish blizz could give us a chance to Lock it to a target if we are on Tankduty !
The easy way to get Serpent statue to heal tanks is to use it as a "Marker Symbol" for tanks Tankspot position. And then keep replacing it as the fight moves on. That way it will almost always target the tank because its the closest target with choppy health.

@OP, your idea is good but it's not very reliable. The MetaGem is VERY RNG Dependant and Uplift is already really spammable as our most Chi Using ability. Making it cost mana is a bit inefficient, not to mention Blizzard are removing the Glyph of Uplift in 5.4 since it's never used.
Also Mana Tea should be used the moment you hit 90%, not 50%. You should be able to use it on CD once you first use it and that'll give you a huge supply of mana if used regularly.
10 man healing summed up;
1. Spread ReM to as many people as possible
2. Uplift as your only Chi Spending skill. There should be no reason to use EM unless Uplift isn't needed and tanks are taking lots of damage. (Some HC tactics may require EM however, such as Frostbite on Council or Primordius Volatile Pathogen)
3. Monks don't focus tanks the way you do, enough said there. Yes we'll make sure ReM is on them so uplift always hits them and use Soothing Mist on tanks or w/e to generate Chi from but we never solely focus them to the extent it makes us not use Uplift.
Let's not forget ReM and Uplift are the monks best healing skills by far in any fight ;p Look at one of my latest Tortos HC logs for example;
I used a grand total of 1 Enveloping Mist in that fight and it was a mispress :p
I don't mean to be rude, but they aren't on par if you're tank healing as a monk :p. I've 2 healed almost every encounter with either a Druid or Disc Priest and have never had to focus the tanks for longer than 2-5 seconds at a time ;o

I can imagine it being fairly effective for a FW only build since when FW'ing you barely get any Chi income for reliable uplifts. MW though... yea it's bad :)

It's being replaced by another glyph, so if you own Glyph of Uplift you'll get the new one which I can't remember what it is, but it's not related to Uplift at all.
have been progressing on tortos 10man hc for some 2-4haurs now (40% best try), were running 115k hps and 70k dps and 20% overhealing, without mana issues (will link World of logs when we have the kill), i know its not as high as its possible to run it, but we used a 3 healer setup. and im only running ilvl 530.
if you want the build to Work better (not having to change targets to mist etc, you will need following macros)
/use surging mist
/use renewing mist
then you have a tank on focus, and uses your suging mist on him, and every other renewing mist on him. and every other on yourself. it will spread to furthest away from you (due to glyph), and since you and tank both are on boss, you are standing close.
that way you dont Waste any hots, and run 30% healing on yourself, and 9% on each other raid-memeber, like i did at the beginning. it were still crazy effective, but a Waste of overhealing. and surging mist on tank is always better then just wasting em on yourself, or having to change target from boss to tank.
BLIZZ PLZZZ LET ME KEEP MY GLYPH!!!! I BEG YOU!!!
if you want to be able to change focus to the other tank for some reason like tank-switch, you need 2 times this macro.
/target "name of tank"
when tanks switch, just press the macro alligned to the tank.
